Well... after listening to Pink's Cuz I can, I've suddenly found a tune that keeps me wanting to paint and I'm suddenly 6 stands of Hormogaunts and 3 stands of Gargoyles painted.... plus a start on a Red Terror conversion, plus small mods to the arms of two Lictors.
If the music keeps me in the swing of things, I'll be planning to do the two Tyrant Guards and some more Tyranid Warriors and maybe some Raveners to help the Red Terror.
So... fingers crossed I'll stick to the sudden enthusiasm, but in the mean-time, I remember others doing conversions of Raveners and Zoanthopes, anyone point me to the right place?
Oh and can someone post a diagram or pictures how the Tyrant Guard rear legs attatch to the body?

?no responses, oh well... luckily I'm still at it, although at a slightly slower pace than I would have liked.
Here's a sneak peek of the work so far, photos are a bit bad due to lack of good lighting.
I'm using the Lictor body as a template, so the top left one, I'll be slicing the legs into the shape of the tail for the Ravenar. Planning to do five of these, so hopefully I can be bothered.
The second from the left will be the Red Terror. Not really visible at the moment, but I have the lower jaw with two fangs.
The two pictures on the right are my Tyranid Warriors, the Devourer was a nightmare to do. There will be 4 four more warriors, but will have the more basic sculpted ?Deathspitters.
And finally the Carnifex to go with the Hive Tyrant. Planning a second one. Hopefully the head isn't too big. Was reluctant to cut up another 40K Ripper.
There is also the head of a Tyrant guard I'm hoping to do which is not shown. I started off with the back of a Lictor, but this will be working from scratch, so not sure how this will work out.
If all things go smoothly, I reckon this year's competion will be swamped with Nids ?
