Any players in Edinburgh?

Hi all,

was just wondering by the by if there are any Epic players in Edinburgh or if anyone goes to the Edinburgh League of Gamers? I Know they play Warhammer Fantasy (which I also have started to get into), but Epic is still my first love obviously...

I take it thats a no then :(  Oh well, at least it confirms my desire to move down to the south :)

Well, more England.  But New Zealand could also be potentially interesting.  So thats not very far or really very very far south :D

I live in Edinburgh but I'm not playing at the moment.  If by the league of gamers you mean the club that meets in the RAF association on London Road then there are a couple of guys there that play Epic, there are a few Blood Bowlers and plenty of Warmachine alongside the GW core games.  In fact, last time I was there several months ago GW core was on less than half the tables.

Oh yeah:  The beer's cheep there.

Yeah, thats the group I was meaning.  Ill try and head down there and see what the craik is- THanks for the overview.  Also- if you ever fancy getting a game in, drop me a line :)

Can you still fit people there. I hear it's getting crowded by miniature players looking for more temperate climate :D.

N-Z sounds good, and you get Markconz.

We've had two this year already, and have had to moor a couple of barges to increase the land space...  :p

You cannot seriously be exchanging Edinburgh for 'further south'
Besides it's probably the closest I'll get to an Epic player, being just across the water, maybe I need to take the boat day trip.

Hello,

I am the new member mentioned above.  I'm actually a friend of 'Colonel Sponz' who also lives in Edinburgh.  I signed up to reply to the thread, but by the time I was approved he had already done so.  

I'm just getting back into epic after a long absence and am trying to build an IG army after giving away all my figure 10 years ago thinking I was too cool to play with toy soilders anymore (I was a teenager....OK!).

I do go the ELG on occassion, but real life has been getting in the way of late.
