Here's my take on an update for Alaitoc. ?This list is assumed to be using the Eldar 1.8 changes.

Added:

Nothing... I think.

Changed:

Ranger Troupes may garrison with Falcons

Removed:

Nothing... I think.

We've got an Alaitoc player in our local group, but he's been seduced away by Warmachine.

I sent him the new list and it's sparked some interest, so I'm hoping to get a game in with him some time soon.

Pathfinders with 1+ Init is something to consider.

Alaitoc can still get three decent sized Aspect Troupes per Warhost, so you can get a lot of 1+ formations that way, but I understand what you're saying.

I wish I could get our Alaitoc player out more, but he's a teacher prepping for back-to-school and has been seduced by Cryx in Warmachine... the poor cad!

This new version (V2.0) does not have explanation/stats for Alaitoc Pathfinders.
   
I assume they are like in older version - and thus still not that great... for 150 pts you get 4 teleporting swooping hawks, but for 200, you get 4 teleporting rangers... ? Maybe those pathfinders could be somehow beefed up rangers or something...

Yep, sniper in a crossfire situation can be *very* nasty.

I'll still probably put a "datafax" for the Pathfinders in the next release of Alaitoc.

I haven't posted an update yet, they'll be in the next release!

Should be up near the start of next week as I'll be reviewing all the Craftworld lists tomorrow.

Maybe you want to answer some questions we have collected in Epic Backgroud "What should each list feel like" thread. I?m pretty sure Ulthwe will come out with SR4 after that  :glare:   :blush:   :;):
