Thanks very much for the kind comments every one! :)

@ Lextar, I've left the doors open, but haven't made them movable - or put any interior detail in - I simply feel I've not got the time to do so :(  maybe next time...

Today I've carried on adding details, but I've had a bit of a set back as the Orbital Defence Lasers have completely gone kaput ??? so I'm giving them one more go to see if they take, otherwise I'm going to change the design...

...and they didn't take, so I've changed them - here's the new orbital defence system, guided missiles:

Here's the Bastion now, about 95% finished: just some detailing on the windows (those bits of wire mesh on the side), and something in the middle to represent some kind of generator/reactor/waste-outlet...

I'm aiming to have it finished tomorrow, to prime and start painting Sunday/Monday.

Thanks for looking! :)

Thanks very much again for your kind comments! :)

Well I spent a day of Green-stuff work and I've pretty much finished building this bastion.

I say 'pretty much', as when I was uploading these photo's I noticed a few areas that need a little more G/S work   Apart from these, though, I think it's finished.

Unless anyone here can think of anything I should add - speak now, or forever hold you piece!

Here are the pics:

So, when I've filled in those few little gaps, and added anything that is desperately needed, I'll start on the painting.  Question is, can I get it done in the 3 1/2 weeks before our launch event?

In the meantime thanks for looking! :)

Okay, okay!  But they'll have to wait until after I've patined the main bit...

Thanks for the positive feedback, anyway! :)

Good idea Hena - only, I'm wanting this to be as non-specific as possible, e.g. you could use it in Epic, Exodus Wars, Dirt-side, etc.  Marines are a bit too background-specific! :;):   But I'll incorporate them in some of my planned, future projects... :blues:

I have a feeling this is going to look awesome when it's painted.
