Ok corrected, thanks Reddeth.  I think you meant Subjugators rather than Questors unless that is an errata I don't know about?

Now V1.2.

A question - are Madboys in the feral list really supposed to be just 15 points?

Geez you update quick, such a refreshing change! Bravo!
Re the Subjugators, you have it right now (1.2).
As for Madboys, it looks like you have it right to me, but I'm no Ork expert.

That was the good news, now for the bad:

Black Legion Stats 5.10.6:
*Helltalon FB: Remove ignore cover on bombs
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Add Fixed forward to Bombs and Havoc Launcher.
I missed this one first time since ignore cover seemed such a good idea. There is a long thread on SG boards discussing proposed changes to both the chaos aircraft, though things are still in the very early stages. With luck the ignore cover abilty will eventually return and the Swiftdeath will become a Helblade.

Thanks again, will check out discussion and see where things are up to, and what else is floating about. I've got a few questions that the Eldar Champions disagreed on that I want cleared up to.

Seems to be down, pm me your e-mail address and I will send it to you.

Edit - ok I have switched host, this one seems to work better. Let me know if any problems.

Many thanks

(Makes one wonder what delays the rules review if you can present this so fast) :O

Hi again, just a couple of marine unit stat typos I discovered in version 1.2 during a game today:

Section 5.1.2:
* Landspeeder: notes missing skimmer and scout.
* Rhino: FF value of currently 4+ should be 6+

I played Black Legion versus ground pounder marines. He fielded the Vindicator detachment which was a force to be reckoned with (with the MW ability), very nearly spelling the demise of my Ravager Titan. They seemed a great improvement to the marine list. It was great to be able to give him a copy of the handbook which will aid greatly in his initiation into the EA fold.

Wonderful work.

Could we get armylist version numbers with armylists?

Thanks for the feeback Reddeth, I'll have that corrected for 1.3. Glad to hear you're getting some good use from it :)

@ Niblebitzer. Cheers. Regarding armylist version numbers, the only included list that has any 'official' (whatever that means these days) version number is the Eldar (v1.8). Marine, Guard, Ork, and Chaos have no official set of revisions beyond what is widely accepted by various veteran gamers and what has been consolidated into the lists in the handbook. The situation is better for Barans (Real Chris as champ), and Orks (Neal Hunt as champ), who have some recommended changes (so I guess you could consider those as version-R (Revised). Chaos has only been released this year so should be pretty much ok, I have added some changes but they are more like minor errata's as opposed to a revision (and are supported by Pixelgeek who is the army champion).

All in all I'd just call them EA Handbook Alpha 1.2 lists (or whatever the version number happens to be). Some slight changes to the Eldar 1.8 are likely to occur soon to bring that into line with current opinion among veteran gamers (probably firestorms in some form, revenants and perhaps phantoms - but still some work to be done on that front).

Note that when I include Tau and Tyranid lists they WILL  have version numbers on them for clarity to relate them to what the official army champions are doing.

Ok just to let people know where things are at, I am hoping to have a fairly major revision up in a couple of days that will include some more official (and hopefully final) changes to core rules.

I will also will be tweaking a few things in the army lists based on recent feedback from polls. So if you haven't voted in the existing polls or given feedback do it soon!

More mistakes will be corrected, those listed above plus some others I've found.

Thanks!

Ok Alpha 1.3 is up. See first post.

This involves more of a major overhaul to core rules on the basis of information from Neal Hunt.

Also a few more tweaks to some armies - no surprises for anyone who has been watching recent discussion and polls.

Feedback welcomed as always.

Blitz Brigade: Any 4 of the following units: Gunwagons, Deth Koptas. (Flakwagonz deleted)

Now *that* is interesting!

Hmmm... how come there's no WAAAGH! section on these boards?

Haven't looked over this way for sometime as have been waiting on GW rather than pushing ahead on development. However as others have started to look at lists that I'm interested in I'm back.....

First things first - Don't leave out the Speed Freaks, they are official and whilst Neal and I have discussed a few small changes they are not as powerful as people think and just have to be attacked in the right way.

Now to sit down and catch up on what everybody else has been doing. Thank you Markconz  for putting this together.

Tiny

I should have a "change doc" that covers the rule changes ready to go soon.  It's basically done and has been sent out to several folks requesting proofreading.

After that, the next project is the army list reviews that will be in a similar format.

Welcome along Tim.

I've had several requests for Speed Freaks now so they will be going in the next version with the following proposed points modifications (that I recorded for posterity from Neal ages ago):

1) Warband point increase to 225/400/575
2) Outriders point increase to 150/250/350
