Turned into a veery lucrative buy with all the trading and sales on ebay, effectively tripled my outlay :D

I did something quite similar a couple of years ago.  I needed 20 Chaos Termies to finish my Epic Iron Warriors army, and found a lot where a someone was selling 5-6 sprues worth of the new Chaos stuff, including a number of Daemon Engines.

I won the lot for ?20 (whoot! :D  ) then I either sold everything I didn't need (such as the afore-mentioned Daemon Engines), or trading them for other stuff.

In total I made over ?40, so staving off student=poverty for another day.  Hooray!

I was looking for a copy of renegades a while back and saw a copy on a buy it now with what looked like a few miniatures and the army cards.  I was hoping the rules would be in there to, so bought it for ?14 or so.

When I actually received it, inside the package was a large chaos army for slaanesh with lots of stuff.. Minotours, daemonettes, keepers of secrets, chaos marines..  Decided I didn't need to have another army so sold it to Blacklegion for the same price I picked it up for minus a few pounds for the Imperial things that was in it which I kept.

Still use the purple whirlwinds, predators land raiders, rhino's, speeders and bikes as part of a sub chapter I have!

Holy cow! The seller had a Buy it Now price of only 20 bucks? I guess he didn't know he could've gotten double that for it.  :D  Congrats, Onyx.

I got a haul of all new, sealed E:A Ork stuff for $76 US.  IT had the following (Boxes or blisters):

1 Great Gargant
2 Gargant
2 SuperStompa Mob
2 Gun Fortress
1 Gun Wagons
3 Buggies/Scorchers
2 Fighta bombas
2 Warbikes
1 Dreads/Kans
2 Supa Gunz

My favourite though was a listing of supposedly 40K Tyranids that had the following Epic minis - Heirophant, Hive Tyrant, Trygon, 3 Carnifex, 3 Exocrines and 5 full sprues worth of infantry that I got for $11US.  Most of the metal was badly painted, but the infantry were all unpainted and based on my favourite square bases :D

Listed under Warhammer - Other. I've started to look under warhammer and then search for Epic in description and there can be a lot of stuff there.

Three Recovery Leman Russ for... I can't remember but it was a pittance. Something like < 20$, and there were a few other "ordinary" Leman Russ in the lot too, if I remember correctly.

Going back two or three years but I was able to score the Space Marines Motherload for just over $100...
2 new EA Warhound Titans
2 new EA Reaver Titans
1 new EA Landing Craft
4 new EA Thunderhawks
12 stands of metal Terminators
16 stands of metal Scouts
12 new EA Land Raiders
6 new EA Hunters
4 new EA Dreadnoughts
and a whole bunch of other new EA metal for the SMs.  It was a tremendous score and you could tell the seller was irritated the auction didn't go higher.  He ended up charging e $30 for the shipping but it was still worth it.
