Like the look of the IG baneblade, all except for the forwards position of the sponsoons.  THat looks a bit unbalanced with them so far forwards, to my eye at least.

Yeah, sponsons are in the wrong place for mine as well.  The red circled bit I'd assume was just a new muzzle break, but it could be anti-personnel micro-missile launchers or a canned meal warmer given it's a GW product :)

Um, ew?

The main gun and its projectiles on the Slaneeshan variant are much nastier Otterman.

I just hope no one takes the idea to heart and makes a conversion out of it.  I'd hate to see someone get thrown out of a tournament on my account :p

Hm. Reminds me of someone who made a Tyranid Hive Ship from, erh, adult oriented toys... :p

Overall I like the models. However I agree that the sponsons look a bit funny placed this much to the front of the vehicle. Then again it is probably just because we're used to them being further back.
Not too keen on the two pots of stew on the Chaos version though. Makes it look a bit too much like some goofy toy (Erh. as we all know, wargame miniatures are NOT toys! :p :D :;):)

Other pictures of the plastic baneblade show the sponsons in their usual 'middle' position.

So, who's going to make this for me? My birthday is 26 days away.

Looks like the tank is fairly modular. ...Which means that you could make an excellent Stormhamer with an extra set of sponsons and some tinkering with some double barelled turrets...

Heh, I thought about that already before I knew it was that modular. For once I beat you to it.  :p

Seriously, the gun on the Nurgle Baneblade is... disturbing.  And I shudder to think about the Slaanesh one... :O

EDIT: BTW; am I the only one who thinks the Demolisher mount could do with a gunshield?

No, you're right. The gun looks a bit like it has been bolted in place without any means of elevation. Then again there might be a gun shield that has simply not been used on this version of the model.

According to one guy whowas on the German GD the muzzle is a more powerful Demolisher with Range: 48" Strength 10, Ap 1 and a 10" Blast template.

The standard Baneblade Battlecannon has Range 72" Stregth 8 Ap 3 and a 10" Blast template!

According to new rumours the Hellhammers turret gun is not a MegaDemolisher but a Flamer which uses the new big FlameTemplate.

Oh and it turned out to be a mega demolisher, by the way. :)
