I havn't looked at the EA list- 2x plasma cannon sounds like fun!

I'm experimenting with a triple meltacannon reaver as the 3rd unit. I'm not sure yet whether the range on the weapons is too short but experience should reveal if it works and I won't get anywhere through timidity.

I had been thinking about twin melta cannons with either power-fist or chain-fist. A real short ranged Titan.

Hmmmm, no Eldar Titan weapon combinations yet? So here are three of them:

My Phantom Titan Host:

1. Tremor Monster: Phantom Titan equiped with two nasty Tremor Cannons, two Lasconnen Wings, which should be exchanged to Misslelauncher Wings when meeting with some Orks or Tyranids on the green. Primary targets are Titan legs. Superheavy Tanks are also a good option because you can simply say: This one is out! Explanation: One automatic hit with -6 save modifier. Any questions?

2. the real Fire Dragon: Phantom Titan equiped with two Heat Lances, also a must Lascannon Wings to eventually knock down some recently repaired Void Shields. 1. Turn Charge->2+Save, thanks to Holofields. This also means you already dashed down 40cm, so half the battlefield. 2. Turn FF-> he is in danger so it should be the Players first choice to activate him. Concentrated fire on one Titan-> enjoy the fireworks!

3. The Shieldripper: Phantom with two Pulsars and in this case I also prefer Lascannon Wings. This Titan?s task is to strip down Void Shields (Powerfields), so that Titan No2 can smash in. If done right, he is on Advance order in the first Turn to close up the huge gap between No1 and No2. And on FF in the second turn.

Well these combinations are not that intuitive but they work. Have a try!

We were always fans of option 3, but now he is a bit expensive :).  I have been looking at what is a decent bargain Phantom combo....Shuriken Fist and Heat Lance would be similar to your option 2.

Heyas folks.

A version that worked well for me in a couple of battles is 2 warhounds equipped with 2 vulcan mega bolters each.

I just walked with the infantry and fired in the advance segment. When the enemy won CC 32 shots with about 16 hits did wonders to his survivors.

I love this thraed

I finally managed to get enough "special" weapons to do my favorite convig.

Command head  3xMRL, Capreace Recon LS platform(to stay behind a hill and rain death on the enemies)
Deathstrike cannon head, volcano,volcano, quake, fire control platform
One-shoot missile,one shoot missile, a mix of CC weapons+CC head
One-shoot missile,one shoot missile + plasma destructor

I would reavers only use as battle groups
with a nice range of short-medium rangen weapons and/or CC weapons
I´am a fan of the  flamer


PS.: I think we should remove the "shot-gun-mode" from the MRL its too strong, the TSM-1 is good enough

we do not play with additional cost so a warlord will still cost 500 Pt. in a battle group

what is the point of one shot missile on a plasma destructor fitted titan?
the plasma destructor prohibits the use of any ranged weapon if fired.

did i miss something?
