I've started work on a Dreadclaw type drop pod, and have correctly scaled it from the FW 40k version. Thing is, it's pretty big! I don't have any SM drop pods, so can't compare, but here's the basic shape next to a Marine.
So, is it too big? Or should I keep working at this (correct) size? Regards, Reaver

Looks good to me! I think it's pretty much the size of an SM pod, or maybe a tad bigger, which is good.

It's fine, Dreadclaw's should be bigger c'os they are flyers and can liftoff after landing.

I think you should make it fit on the head of a pin.

Head of a pin might be a twee too small. Fit on a 20x20mm base will do nicely....just didn't want it to consume too much resin

I'm getting on with this now, hopefully I'll have more pics tomorrow. i'm not sure how well it'll go, though... it already looks like being a nightmare to mould, and I haven't added all the spiky bits yet! regards, Reaver

Okay, here's the latest version, just needs a bit of tidying up now... Problem is, I think the moulding and casting are going to be a real headache. Don't hold your breath, anyone! regards, Reaver
