It seems that IG, Orks, eldar and marines can still be bought quite cheaply but Chaos and Nids are at ridiculous prices.
I've been following some Chaos Vehicles, 8 hours to go now
(prices approx.)
4 Land Raider ?21
13 Predators ?29
7 Rhinos ?18
I know their rare but their not really that necessary for a Chaos army, or that nice either

E-bay can be a bit random, at the start of the year I was able to pick up BNIB IG chimeras (40k) for ?12 (inc. P&P), now they seem barely below the shelf price, even (badly) painted ones are going for ?15.
On the other hand BNIB Russes aren't selling at all.
I suspect that part of it is due to increased e-bay members, they now have a larger number of debit cards that can get an PayPal account (Visa Electron and few others).

I finally caved and bought some Earthshakers and Firestorms direct from Rip-of....I mean Forgeworld. Bad mistake....the Earthshakers are pipsqueaks....I think I'll be making more of my homemade ES's and using the FW ones as AA guns or something. I think I'll be getting some of the SG Firestorms too as I expect the FW ones (once I reconstruct them ) will last about 13.5 seconds.

Hi L4...not here yet....post seems a bit slow ATM. ?Unfortunately I had ordered some just before you offered and couldn't change my order in time. ?Not real impressed with the FW version I must say....bubbles in the cockpits and the guns are either warped or broken. ?Definitely think I'll go SG. Alas I'll have 6 FW versions and not sure what I'll do with them.
I did not the Plague Tower reached new heights of 31 pounds in the latest Ebay listing

Yes, the mail is slow and you and I are on different sides of the planet !  I'm probably going to add new barrels to some of my F/W Firestorms. Well the 6 you have you could trade with the crew here ?

Chaos is starting to get hot price wise, and there's a large amount of it starting to hit the US boards, which I hope will depress the price somewhat. Plague Towers are of a premium at the moment..
