I've just got access to software to create pdf, so I created a updated version of the Iyanden PDF, with the unit rules, 1.8 changes and a corrected version of the army list

Iyanden (1.8) Redux

if there are any problems tell me.

Cool, I really like how this list is restrictive in choices.  It fits very well.

A couple of edits it you're taking suggestions:

At the end of the first line of the Avatar notes there's an extra "Free".

Wrath Seer
Formation:
You may add a Wrath Seer character to any Wraithguard stand for +100 points.

Notes:
If a Wrath Seer upgrade is taken it counts as the Spirit Seer upgrade in the Spirit Warhost formation.

(Is +100 fair for this upgrade? An Autarch is only +75 points.  Also, a Datafax for the unit would be better than the inline description as a Farseer with Supreme Commander, that's why I thought to remove it.)

Eldar Spirit Warhost
Formation:
An Eldar Spirit Warhost consists of six Wraithguard units, one of which contains a Spirit Seer upgrade.

Notes:
In addition the formation may include three Wraithlord units for +175 points.
Alternatively the formation may be mounted in six Wave Serpents  for +300 points.  If this option is taken then the formation is not allowed to take the Wraithlord upgrade.

(this avoids the confusion of "I took Wave Serpents, does this mean I don't get the Spirit Seer upgrade?")

In the troupes section under formation you'll want to change "Aspect Warrior" to "Spirit".  This also might be a better place for the living few note, instead of at the top of the army list.

That's all I caught right now, I can take a closer look later if you like.

I've reworded this, it should be clearer and makes more sense. I was using the last versions wording, and there are a few points were it needs tidying up.

I think the Wraith Seer is well worth 100pts.. It allows you to summon an avatar, get a re-roll and do combined assaults.

If decided to go with

The formation may include three Wraithlord units for +175 points.
OR
The formation may be mounted in six Wave Serpents  for +300 points.

Nice Simple, No room for misreading.

Thanks, took a lot of time to work out what you meant but that was an error.

OK I've updated the file with changes. I have reworded a lot of the entries in the Army list for clarity and to fix errors, and added a note or two.

List of changes

  • Spirit Seer Datafax now includes (Note this unit does not count as a Farseer) in it's notes

  • Wraith Seer Entry now reads
    Formation:
Replace a Spirit Seer character with a Wraith Seer for +100 pts.

  • Eldar Spirit Warhost Entry now reads.
    Formation:
A Spirit Warhost consists of 6 Wraithguard  units with a Spirit Seer character upgrade on one of the units.
    Notes:
The formation may include three Wraithlord units for +175 points.
    OR
The formation may be mounted in six Wave Serpents  for +300 points.

  • Eldar Guardian Warhost Entry now reads.
    Notes:
Up to three Guardians may be replaced with Heavy Weapon Platforms at no additional cost and the formation may include 3 Support Weapon Platforms for +50 points
    OR
The formation may be mounted in four Wave Serpents for +200 points.

  • Aspect Troupe now reads.
Aspect Troupe: Four Aspect Warrior units for 150 points chosen from the following list: Dire Avengers, Striking Scorpions, Howling Banshees, Fire Dragons, Warp Spiders, Dark Reapers, Swooping Hawks, Shining Spears.

You may include an Exarch character upgrades for +25 points.

All units apart from Swooping Hawks, Warp Spiders and Shining Spears may be transported in Wave Serpents and/or Falcons if desired. If you choose to take this option then you must take exactly enough transport vehicles to carry the units that require transport, without any spare transport spaces being ?left over?. Each Wave Serpent taken costs +50 points, and each Falcon taken costs +65 points.
