Interesting term, "Planks", have not heard that UK term from the Great War in a while. ?It's like "Grunts" in the US Army, means Infantryman, (like I was !) ! ?As far as Gunners, Planks, Gun Bunnies (that's what we called them), etc., I see Tom & WMN's point, whatever army you use, you mount a couple of those to the base. The addition of gunner figs on the base is purely ascetics. ?However, all my towed guns, dismounted mortars, etc., have one or two gunners on the base. ?And when I get these field pieces, I'll add a crew man or two, per tube ! ?:D ?And again, great job WMN/Tom/Bob ! :)

I do appreciate their attempts to make their range as adaptable as possible.

But I like their figures and want guild artillerymen!

Selfish I know, but if you don't ask...

:D, yes I see your point, it would be rather cool to have a supplimentary blister of artillery crew.

I'll see what I can do.

I'm all for it ! Make some Gunbunnies !!!  The great thing about many E/W models, is that they are multi-use. Can be used not only  for E/W but Epic, or any other 6mm system you play. :D
