Really nice terrains Firestorm, I hope I could play on your tables one day ;)

If you're looking for trees, here is a tutorial by a french guy: link

Fast and cheap way to make forests ;)

Pictures explain very well the creation but if you need more explanations, I can try to translate some parts.

I'm back with some Epic terrain, here's a little vignette sugesting a war-torn battlefield.  The white blob at the front of the CD is one of Otterman's offcasts, the hull of a Leman Russ:

This week I'll be working on more Epic scale pieces, including some razor-wire.

More pics to come, thanks for looking! :)

Here are those Razor-wire strips I mentioned earlier this week:

And with some Epic Iron Warriors to give you an idea of scale :)

I'm happy with how these have turned out, but I do think I'll need to make more... does anybody have any idea how many would be 'average' for a standard 3,000 point game on a 6'x4' board?  Probably less than 12, but if I've got to provide, say, TEN tables... :confuse:

Thanks guys! :)

Today I started getting a bit ahead of myself, but I had inspiration & I wanted to give my idea a try for size...  I'm currently working on Battlefield structures (e.g. bunkers, razor-wire) and ruins.  In a few weeks I'll move on to Desert stuff; but I started toying with this idea, based upon these structures made by Forge World which are supposed to represent the openings to under-ground buildings on Desert planets.

So here's my experiment using the Epic Ruins pieces, and some 40k CoD pieces.  Please note it's still very WIP, but I thought I'd show how it's looking so far:

This week I'll try and paint up those Razor-wire strips (does anyone think I'll need to make more?), and make some more Epic-scale hills and forests/jungles.  Thanks for looking! :)

Thank you all/Merci a tous! :)

I've been sticking sand to lots of things this week, as well as base-coating loads of other stuff, but today I patined some of those Raxzor-wire strips I made last week:

They blend in very nicely with my table!  I'll get some pics of them on one of my boards next week.

Thanks again for looking!
