Very surprised at how far appart the objectives are - my titans like 'em bunched up so a warlord can sit in the middle! (And for that matter a tyranid swarm.)

That was nice game, it was fun to be on that side of the nids. :) I had plenty of shooting but my disrupt fire was very unaccurate and I didn't even manage to kill those hydras... :D

Hena, your volcano was unaccurate, but every time it hit home it made 3 damage, especially on that bonus round! :p (two shots with double and 6 damage to dominatrix without crits.. ouch!)

I have lots to comment with nid list, but I'll do that tomorrow morning. So good night.

Comments of nid 7.4.
I have read it and really nids are going in right direction, but on many things it seems that unstoppable hasn't been taken count on when points cost have been chosen.

Army special rules are written fine and full DC on bts works great. Good.

Dominatrix:
Only good to say, it really is effective in all areas and point cost seems to be fine for its abilities and spawning is not too dominating. Great!

Harridan & Vituperator:
Seems to be pretty balanced. they are weak, but have some punch. Have to try them out more.

Hive Tyrant:
Machine, really good unit and especially effective in nexus group. Should lose it's wings option.

Greater Synapse node:
This thing is too nasty. DC3, TRA, RA 4+, Fearless. Seriously too hard to taken off from objectives and only for 75pts. Also possesses good spawning ability. Also because of fearless it has to be killed to taken out from objectives! Damn, these things aren't needed!

Lesser synapse node:
No fearless, so engages are easy way to knock them out, but when does man have time to make those extra engages in turn 3? Very good for it's points and so so so annoying...

Warriors:
Hard to kill, especially without BP weapons, and they make  playing with infantry swarms really easy, just march across table and engage whenever you can, because that has no disadvantages for you. Luckily no wings anymore.. :)

Independent creatures

Mieotic spores:
Cheap activations, and they have ZOC. Otherwise nothing special.

Broodlord:
Again, not necessary and especially inspiring for nids, big no.

Genestealers:
Overall balanced, good.

Lictor:
Great. Sure can easily taken out with FF, but many times not enough activations to do that. And if attacked that means some other formation is not ans is ready to engage.

Hierophant:
Good. Only that crit 1 can be advantageous and I think one should never benefit for having crits. And it has no downsides. Just why not put it 1-5 1DC and 6 D3+1 Dc?

Hydraphant:
Great. Definately doesn't need it's warp blast! Still it seems pretty cheap for fearless, unstoppable DC8 critter. Criticals  roll 1 sould be different.

Brood creatures

Biovore:
It got upgraded and now it can shoot so much better and is able to use sustain almost all the time. Pretty cheap for it's abilities and does nid need 2 disrupt indirect unit? You can have 3 for 1 dactylis and I think they are even better choise now.

Carnifex:
I like that single profile, good and balanced.

Dactylis:
Awesome. I have always wondered why nids have almost best artillery out there?

Exocrine:
Good, beats out predators easily. These can give so huge amount of shots. Maybe weapon could be 4+/5+...

Gargoyle:
Best before, and now it even has AA attack. Wow, tehy are just must have and they give nid so effective AA umberella that is fast!

Haruspex:
Pretty nasty monster, but often can only use FF. When it gets in CC, it is really worth it's points.

Hormagaunt:
Good, but I personally prefer termagaunts over these, because they can FF. But they are fine and balanced.

Hierodule, barbed:
Wicked, Cheap DC 3 monster that almost outshoot baneblade. :) Has FF 4+, and even harridan and vituperator has 5+? So good unit, and needs definately a points hike!

Hierodule, scythed:
Also wicked, not so overall good as barbed version, but still 2 TK attacks in CC and decent firefight, yeah, monster. Good that these two don't have regen anymore.

Malefactor:
Very good, and strenghtens my view of nids becoming awesome FF army too.

Ravener:
Worth every point, effective unit. balanced.

Termagant:
Fine and balanced.

Trygon:
Finally something different, speedy and fearless thing. I like this. seems balanced.

Zoanthrope:
Nice that this thing has macro FF attack and it should be the nid FF fighter, but sadly there is so much better options for that now. Balanced and stylish unit.

these are my feelings about nids, mainly they have so suprisingly good shooting and FF, and also some things seem to be slightly cheap but I really like that nids have been going to be a pretty balanced army. Nids should be characterful (are already) and challenging (not yet, some things are just tactically so easy because they can take punishment that could shatter all other armies) army to play. Please comment, lets see if we can have another discussion. :)
