Today I base-coat painted a board, cut some more hills (couldn't do too much with these as in some cases the PVA gluing two sheets of polystyrene together hadn't fully dried), started some 15mm+++ scale razor wire/obstacles...

I also started on two Epic scale pieces, another random bits structure, and a piece which centres on a ruined Eldar Titan...

Pics to come soon, as well as details of that other thing I mentioned yesterday! :blues: :;): :D

Well, after a bout of insomnia working at it, I am able to reveal the thing that I've been furtively referring to.  May I introduce our website:

Now, I am barely even a novice when it comes to the Internet, so this site is very basic.  But I hope that it gets the point across and provides the information people will need.

There are very few pics on it at the moment, because we're still in the middle of decorating our Holiday Cottage (which will be ready by the beginning of June) and guest rooms (which should all be ready beginning of July).  I will add pics of thse and of the terrain I've been building in due course!

I'll just bring something to your attention: onthis page you'll find details of a competition we're running.  The prize is a free weekend for the winner and one of their friends at our Official Launch Weekend!  This is an exclusive, invite only event, so it's a fairly special prize.  Take a look and have a go if you fancy a free weekend of war-gaming! :D

Nice site firestorm. However you first link doesn't take you to a web page but a listing of what looks like your home page!

Competition link works though. I suspect you don't have a default page configured for the site.

Now I need to start saving so I can visit  :D

I don't know what you're getting from the first link... it's an index page, as there will be two versions of the site (French & English, though I've got lots to do to get the former finished), which takes you to the homepage in the appropriate language.  What are you getting, a list of documents or something?

And yes, I do hope you can visit at some point! :D

@Hena, I don't know why it doesn't work in Firefox, it was programmed using Dreamweaver, perhaps it doesn't support that browser?  That's a problem I'll look in to eventually - I've a fair amount of stuff to do to it before then.

Finally, my apologies, no pics of terrain today as I've been tied up at the Hospital  (not literally of course, I'd have made a claim against them on malpractice charges :p ) so I've not had the chance to do anything.  Pics tomorrow though, that's a promise! :D

Yep its wrong in firefox. You see the html listing instead of the page. Works fine in IE!

Thanks for the feedback!  I've tried sorting the Firefox prob, but my new version of the site wouldn't load the pictures, so I'll have another go at it another time.

I've been chipping away at more stuff today, mainly hills, but I've made a couple more Epic pieces.  Firstly, here's another bits/junk box special:



Something of a companion piece to the first.  And I've made this, using a partial Epic Titan I got in a load of stuff I bought on eBay:



I'm currently thinking that it'd look best as a desert base, any suggestions/comments that way?

Another quick update - I think I've sorted the problem which prevented Firefox users from opening the index page of my website; just a case of changing the formatting after all that!

If you ise firefox, take another look here to see if it works now.
