I suppose casting it wouldn't be too big of a problem...  Dang!  I should have thought of that - out of curiosity, how much would somebody have paid for a resin cast of the model? ???

That'd depend on the quality I guess. Would definitely be a good excuse to dig out the rules for the Steel Legion Colossus dropship from the early playtesting days... :;):

Actually ... I have 2 ... :D  I have posted pics before ... Anyone what to see'm, LMK !  :)  I was lucky, at the time my buddy was working at G/W US and I got 2, like for $10 each ! (Don't hate me !) I know I got some for DRM's Doug, from the US Archives when they were still open. They were sold by the piece !  Like $70 USD each ! :O

Very cool. Any ID on the other family members there? In particular I am interested in the shuttle behind the drop ship, next to the mother ship, with the large intake fans.

ID =  Shuttle is a modified Bandai, Gundum Zangibal (I got Van, Maskim and Cuban/C some right from Japan);  Big #7 is GZG, the 3 other smaller one's (two versions) are GZG and off in the corner is an AMT/ERTL modified SW M/Falcon.  :D

L4, I just love the collection.  What a fantastic game that would make with zillions of Imperial Guardsmen flooding out of those dropships. :D

If only a pattern were available to do so.

As an aside, silicon molding removes acrylic paint in an unpredictable fashion. But that's neither here nor there.

You are spot on TRC !  I've got a lot of those old Dark Future turrets & weapons, I use them all the time ! :D  And all those Dropships belong to my Space Wolves, in the old SM1 fluff, they were the Drop Specialist !  I know the pic is not clear enough, but there is Space Wolf insignia all over them !  Maybe I'll see if Van can post the whole link again ... more close up pics.  I may be out of line, but Doug/DRM's CinC may have still have his SIB !? ???

I sent the whole gallery to Van and WMN ... one of them will post it here. I can't, I'm on my webtv and my Lap Top is in it's case ! ?:( ?Pg. 2 of the gallery is close up pics of all the D/Ships. And pg.1 - Exodites, T/hawks, T/bolts, AMT: X & Y Wings(to be used as T/bolts & Lightenings), etc. ! :D  And thanks for all the + comments boyz !  ;)
