Hmmm....Interesting: I hadn't noticed that the Scythed Hierodule had a gun on its back. Looks like I might have to do a few adjustments to my own. :;):

Yep, it's only very small, and it's where the 'acid spray' weapon comes from. Fluffwise it's a symbiotic creature, bonded to the Hierodule.

What is the head - what have you used as the base?

Is that a warrior body but with gaunt limbs?

It already is in multiple parts. The white blobs on the picture are white-tac holding the pieces together.

Warrior body, with shortened and repositioned tail. I had to sculpt a new ribcage extension between the legs which can't be seen on the picture.

Gaunt scything claws.

The head is jaws from a warrior, and the rest of the head is scratch-sculpted.


I think I've gotten very close to the FW model's pose & relative size... it's just a touch too large, but there's little I can do about that, since to me the gaunt bodies are unsuitable in shape.

It fits comfortably on a 40mm round base.
