One Leman Russ upgrades his AT4? shot to AT2+....one out of 10...not THAT big a difference to warant a points cost for an separate upgrade.
And any upgrade for 25 points will cause problems, because nothing in the IG armylist apart from additional Chimeras costs 25 points. All points costs can be divided by 50.

You're forgetting the 1 sniper base for 25pts proposal.

Either remove the option for having ten normal russes, or introduce an upgrade cost for the vanquisher.

It's completely senseless having the 'optional' free upgrade right now.

Yes thats its labeled an upgrade is pretty pointless. Who would take 10 Leman Russes if he can upgrade one to a Vanquisher for free?

Someone who doesn't have a vanquisher model and who is a purist when it comes to representational gaming... ?

It is pointless from a purely stats crunching boardgaming POV but it's nice for any fluff nutters out there that do that sort of thing :D.

Ah entirely forgot - Commissars only for IG units - no more sticking them in titans!

I'm for that.  It's gone from being justified as "surely it's happened some time in the history of the Imperium" to standard operating procedure for IG armies.

::Raises hand:: For the reasons Markconz gave.

No Commissars for Titans would be a good idea, aircraft too I guess.  Could you add them aircraft anyway?  Would it do anything?

I don't see why not. Surely they move around in spacecrafts :D. And it's since Commissar in the spacecraft has no effect in it's abilities, it really doesn't matter.

*slap*
