Wow !!  Cool stuff !  WMN's painted Epic are in there !  Nice !  Epic in W/D & expertly painted by one of our crew !! Great Job again, WMN !   And they are coming out with another version of Mighty Empires ... with 3-D tiles ... little castles, streams, mountains, etc. And you paint'm up as you like.  They show, Desert, Woodland and Winter tiles ... So who knows what cool pieces they might release to be used for Epic ! I've used the OOP ME pieces before ... and may again !  :D

I didn't think we'd ever see Mighty Empires re-released. That's good to hear. Maybe there's hope for more Epic releases after all.

Not sure it is really going to be Mighty Empires though. It looks like nothing more than a campaign system for Warhammer, not that that's a bad thing.

Yes, I saw that in the mag ... but ... who really knows, what direction it will take ?  If it only can be used as a strategic/Campaign system for WHFB ...   They should have called it something else ! :)  I'm hoping they bring out some cool bitz.   :D

With the existance of Warmaster models, the tiles and hopefully the rules on the internet. Does it matter if mighty empires is rereleased?

There was a Mighty Empires 'bible' somewhere, without adding fan rules, it just collated all the original rules from the manual and White Dwarf.

I wonder if it was successfully purged by the GW Legal Eagles?

Do you know what page? I actually bought a WD with my own money today but can't find any of these rumours. I have the UK issue, 328.

I think that the US are one issue behind the UK usually, and that this is made worse by the SG release schedule. I do think that the Epic Chaos were either in last issue, or the one before (if you have the Harlequin issue).

Yes it's the USA issue - ME is on pg. 16 and WMN's Chaos appropriately on pg. 13 ! The "Pansy" Harleys were on last issue's cover ... list issue - LotR's Dwarves ...  I think /hope that if they release ME stuff, it may be smaller than WM stuff and I use both with my Epic.  Mostly on terrain ...

Lol. Obviously! GW don't want to risk any of their other games getting hexed by promotion on an unlucky page number :D

Interesting about the ME stuf. I agree that some of it would be good for Epic. Also any siege equipment would be great weapons for Nurlge Daemonengines IMO.
