Finished the Rhinos (minus decals, 'cause they're packed ?:confuse: ):



I've started painting Perturabo tonight, I'll do my utmost to get him finished by Saturday evening, as on Sunday I'm packing all my hobby stuff ready for the move :O

Then I won't get the chance to do any more painting or miniature making for at least a week until we get settled in France... then it'll be squeezing in the occasional hour between lots of painting of the decorating variety! :D

Thanks very much, everyone! :) I've now finished Perturabo:



I just need to varnish him & send him to Evil&Chaos.  One question though: what do you think of the edge of the base?  I was a bit indecisive about what colour to paint it, my Iron Warriors have Grey base-edges, but as this is for E&C & Pulsar's game, I didn't know if that would match their army.  So I decided on Boltgun Metal, as it's the colour of the Iron Warriors armour, but I'm not sure if it's that good.  I may repaint the edge black.

Any comments/suggestions?

I would paint the edge either black or a very dark grey. Very nice conversion and a great paint job!

Thanks for your feedback - I've re-painted the edge of the base Black, it does look much better.

So, tomorrow I pack my paint station, paints, brushes and models away ready for the move to France :( I'll be a bit lost these next few evenings without my escape! :laugh:

I anticipate it'll probably be a couple of weeks before I get the chance to get my stuff out when we've arrived; but when i do, I'll be finishing converting & painting Land Raiders & Predators for my Iron Warriors army.

I'll also be making lots and lots and lots of terrain pieces - if my execution can live up to my ideas & imagination, it should be worth everyone's time looking over :;):
