Anyone know where to find good 28mm Sci/fi gangers?

I'm looking for something compatible with Necromunda, but cheaper than GW.

So far, most ranges are either low quality, or almost the same price as GW.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

I've been intrigued by the Copplestone Future Wars line for quite a while now. Not quite the same look as most of the Necromunda ranges, but that is not necessarily a bad thing...  :laugh:

Both Wargames Foundry and Mongoose do a line of 2000AD figs that might make decent substitutes for Necromunda.

Wargames Foundry's current urban rtange might also have some potential.

As well... the gent who demos Gangs of Mega City One at the local store here in town extensively uses converted Hero Clix and Star Wars pre-painted figs.

You can pick up some pretty decent figs that only need a bit of work and a new paint job for dirt cheap with those.

The only problem with Wargames Foundry is that their prices are in league with GW... Mongoose is more in line with Copplestone. Another option would be to have a squat gang from Olley's Armies scrunts!

Very true... at least with a game like Necromunda you don't need dozens of figs... want perhaps but not need.  :;):

Squat gang, now that would be awesome!  That goes in the maybe catagory.

I really wanted a female dominated gang.

Wargames foundry has some great femmes, but not cheap enough for a game I'm only dabbling in.

I like the models from EM4, but not nearly enough female selection.

EM4 Rocks..am making my own gang with them..also for female models i believe on the USA website you can get old style models. Well, if i remember well, an old friend of mine.. she had 3 different metal catachan females. Direct order from the US GW website and only paid them the equivalent of 3 dollars each...i think, ill call her to check, these were 40k minis.

I've pretty well sifted through the GW US online store.  Necromunda figs seem to be the cheapest.

An SOB gang would be cool, but way pricey.

for necromunda mate...i always...always..go for enforcers...but they are guys...the thing is i add variety with i-Kore models (shock troopers look like nec enforecers)..which reminds me...

i-kore is leaving business..so hurry

http://www.fantization.com/cgi-bin....ash.htm

go to VOID STORE FOR GOOD STUFF

lots of females in viridian section, although lots out of stock.

My suggestions for females (in stock, lots of good out of stock ones though :p)

Viridian Section -> NONE IN STOCK

although you could search for the marines which are all ladies or some other cool females on ebay etc.

Junker -Section  >

Berzerker Females

SYNTAH section ->

Female omega bioech
Prosthene Specialists, Targeteer & Rocket
Female Delta Biomech

VASA section ->

Female Shuriken Guard Sergeant
Female Black Legionnaire MKII Sergeant
Militia Females
(lots of girls this section)

this is my last resource :p
