At the beginning of 2006 a lot of work was done on small alien races for use in BFG. Sadly enough I cannot get hold of the authors:
Rowanalpha,
Cpt.Leoten,
Magsu/Magus

Yeah, but as far as I know both disabled the e-mail function, allowing only private messages through the board.
