Come on, allow them a bit of customization (although it would be more effective to stick to the cheaper designs in order to field more numbers)

Oh, they may have upgrades, but I was thinking: exotic as well?  :p

Hmmm, I think that exotic upgrades should be limited to the Rogue Traders personal ship. But I also think we need a lot more general upgrades I think.

Question in between: Is one of you experienced in doing PDF's and landscape formats, otherwise I will make a cool PDF when we finalised the standard BFG list, think Eldar MMS pdf.

I said would? i meant SHOULD. So i?m with Yannic?s idea about the exotic upgrades.

PD: Would you like pictures of the standard RT fleet? i have a small fleet here...

This is a pic from some time ago. A shame the flash and the "background" worked in a so strange manner...

Chasing a burning Bastion

Titan Duel:

Now, can you tell me how can i get a decent picture of my models? (i do own an original RT cruiser, but now i realize i have never ever taken a picture of it)

Decent Picture Advice, courtesy of the kind folks over at The Conclave:

- Excellent lighting (so the whole model is lit)
- NO FLASH
- Slightly longer than normal exposure time, if you can
- Steady the camera well, especially if you've a shaky hand (like me, I tend to find simply resting it helps)

For ships on their own, or 'faked battles' (ie Dioramas rather than in-game shots), try and set up the background so that it looks the part. A solid 'back' to the picture (like you might have if you were photographing people-models professionally), with a not-too-clashing colour (a black with a scattering of white spots as stars works nicely for BFG).

As noted: having the scene well lit (just move a couple of bedside lamps about) and no-flash seems to improve most photos no-end!

great scratchbuildt vessel you have there Yuber. Do you have any pictures of the big one? What stats are you using for it?
Sorry for the long silence, university is taking up a lot of time right now. Next week will be better I hope. Hopefull we can then start to finish the rules for the RT fleets and make a fleet list.

cheers

The Big One? Ah, you mean that thing which the storekeeper was always telling me "it?s underdetailed!!!". I have one or two more pictures, but i will try to get a few more next week, when i get to be dole again, so that i will get some decent pictures (al last) for the doc. I have been using it as a RT cruiser, although it?s history is that it was a Dark Age of Technology Cruiser found in deep space by a RT. I think i made a battlereport with it?s history somewhere...

I?m happy to see that this post has not died yet
