I think the transporters look cool with the units embarked - they look kind of hollow otherwise.

But yeah, lets hope they aren't a benchmark for selling. Or even worse, the Forgeworld ones are better/cheaper and it cuts sales away from SG and they decide that Epic:Armageddon doesn't sell enough!

Enough doom and gloom. Are we really complaining about new Epic models? No pleasing some people.

It's not about having new models but having new USEFULL models...

I have bucketloads of rhino's and land raiders. More than I need for one chapter even for really big games. Those 2 are probably THE most common vechiles running around. What need there is for god knows how many version?

None. Especially when there's some serious gaps in epic lines(tyranids could do some models, necron line is missing entirely, chaos has huge holes(AA!!!)...List goes on and on).

Yes, I clearly understand the these Rhinos & Raiders were made for the T/Hawk-T ... I said that ... And I understand by releasing them in sep. packs only makes sense ... to a point. And I'll be buying all new Epic and AI, even the new Flak Guns!   And as I said, if(and when) G/W-S/G & F/W stops making 6mm Epic, The DRM;E/W;GZG;eBay;B-town/etc. solution is the only answer.  However - Bottomline - if F/W wants us to go "Full Tilt Bozo" (and I said this before!) - Make a Necron Army (as they did with the T&K!), make Specific Chaos Powers (incl.Undivided and Cultist) AFVs, make the DoK AFVs that are not already in Epic Scale, to name a few !  Even if they only produce 6-8-10 models or so for those forces ...  But that is just my opinion ...  :;):

I'm not complaining; I just think it's a waste of resources to produce a new version of mini that SG currently carries and many epic players already have a zillion of. Plus, as others have said, I would hate for FW base future decisions on Rhino and LR sales.

Well, as I've said, a Crusader variant would make me happy... every so often I have a think about doing one and the hurricane bolters put me off.

Yes, I'd love to see Nids and Necrons but not as much as Sisters of Battle...

I don't think they'll do sisters of battle (and it's a shame that they won't) , mainly because of the GW codex and models?don't make GW much money.

also this whole idea of the Land Raider and Rhino taking up resources that they might be using for other Epic stuff is not right because the Land Raider and Rhino were done under the Aeronautica Imperialis umbrela, the fact that they are in Epic scale is just FW maximiseing the amout of money they can make for one range of models, thats why they did AI in Epic scale in the first place.

This isn't a fund raiser for charity where you buy over-priced stuff you don't need.  They're a for-profit company.

I'd readily buy stuff from FW if they would just produce stuff I want.  I have multiple FW Orkosauruses, Battlewagons (Forts) and Ork aircraft.  One of the guys I play with has a Tau army.  We have between us enough FW buildings to do an entire board with heavy urban terrain.  Between us (just 2 of us actually) we probably bought a couple thousand dollars worth of FW stuff over the past couple years.  We have these things because FW produced good miniatures that we wanted, not because we felt obligated to prop up their stockholders' bank accounts.

If they can't produce stuff people want, they aren't really supporting Epic anyway.  Producing worthless stuff or not producing at all - what's the difference?  From a practical perspective, no difference at all.

Money always talks. :)

Neither are these ones...Actually these are going to give less. Very likely sale wise these are going to flop big time. Very little demand and likely just as expensive or more expensive than SG ones=small sales at best.

Could very well be smallest FW sales(moneywise) they have yet to release.

Well I plan on buying one pack of each of the new aircraft, the 88s ... I mean Flak Guns, and a pack each of Rhinos and Raiders ...  Just waiting on the T/Hawk-T !   And it always is and always will be about the $$$ !  I thought re-doing the bunkers in Resin, was questionable, since they already were in metal and IIRC still available ...  But I get worried when they drop stuff for lack of sales ... But business is business.  I won't quote any FRoA ! :(  :D

So... why would FW need to sculpt new masters?  Could they have just used SG Rhinos and LR's as their masters and then cast them in resin?  I'm assuming the core issue here is that the pewter vehicles were too heavy or something to attach to the T-Hawk.
