I got some badly casted parts from Forge World.
I have requested that they replacement parts.
I have attached pictures. Do you guys think I had a valid complaint/argument?
While FW makes somw of the best looking models I find that their casting quaility is very hit and miss. soem perfect with siome just horrid.

Yep ! They should replace those ... I don't think they should give you a problem !

CC, the first one got hit by Nid flak! They shouldn't have problems replacing - valid call, I'd say.

The top one definately looks like a torn mold and a valid complaint.

Yep. I can't believe they let so many bad casts get out of those molds...

I've just had to phone for a replacement Nightwing body, that one was completely unrepairable, missing half of the 'nose' and a strange 'napped' quality to the whole upper surface leaving no detail whatsoever. No problems...a new piece is being sent as we speak

I agree, it is a real hit-miss with Forgeworld, just like GW it has a very very bad quality control.
All BFG:
Last summer :
2 Protectors: clean, excellent cast 3 Castellans: all bend and a twist in the wing
Now february;
1 Custodian: one engine came from different casting (grey instead of white). Otherwise excellent besides very much flash. 2 Emissary: engines (on hull) not that good but repairable. Very much flash and one of them very much 'dirt' on the prow. Pity.
3 Castellans: this time excellent 4 Wardens: excellent

That's even more odd considering I got essentially the same mix of ships last summer, and they were superb.
I wonder what the main variable is? That drunk guy that comes in on Friday?

Some of the plastic land raiders in my SM2 box set were partially melted, as if they were warped when being taken out of the mold while still hot. A bit sad to think things haven't got any better.
