Ares I Stormblades

A Mars-like Forge World near Armageddon, Ares I has seen as much strife as any other valuable Imperial world.

Ares I is a dense, metal rich world 25% larger than Mars and covered with iron-rich deserts and flat lands. Unlike Mars, there is a respectable water content (32% planetary surface), and a constant bombardment of water-rich asteroids from the neighboring belt.

The stormblades seen here have changed their chameleon coating to 'parade colors', a contrast between the abundant iron sands covering most of Ares I, and a light khaki that is used to blend in with frequent dirty snowstorms.
