I had planned to test the tyranids in a couple of games at the local club today. However, I put it off to play a mulitplayer game involving new Chaos and Guard players.

My orks and the Chaos attacked the Guard and Ulthwe Eldar. We just played to destroy as much as possible, with a total of about 7K a side. Turn 4 and most of the Imperial and Eldar formations were broken, while the Orks and Chaos were much better off.

Also good to see was a BFG game being played between orks and imperials.

Took a couple of crap photos, I meant to take more but got too involved in the game... :) I will do some proper battle reports featuring the nids next week.

Also none of us bought along scenery for the epic game because we thought the other people were  :D  Poor organisation. Luckily someone else had bought along a few bits to give to one of us.

That looks like a pretty big board you've got there.

I like the chaos titan on the eight pointed base, nice touch.

Yes I will do better pics next time :) I think that is indeed a FW badge upon which the Reaver stands.

Actually another interesting feature of the eldar is the new grav tanks he is using for scorpions and night spinners... you can just make out the scorpions in the top right of the picture. Kudos to anyone who can ID them at that range... :;):

It warms my heart, it does. I was thinking of using the Kraytonian stuff for Tau vehicles, myself, along with GZG Nerw Israeli or or UNSC troops for the infantry.

Seeing those BFG blast markers are really bringing back the memories, I have to say.
