Firestorms - the devils tank!! What an awful fiddly modelling project :( ?Glued, ripped off the barrels and redoing them at the moment...

Also stuck together 6 ork supa guns, and some work on assembling dethkoptas and two more gargants.

Reavers, Warhounds, and Eldar all undercoated.

Question now, is how to arm warlords? I'm not going to bother with magnets... rather I'll just get more titans or carefully change weapons if i dislike configs... :)

So what would be a nice combo?

On left is the first standard setup (two turbo lasers, gatling blaster, volcano cannon).

Second from left is two gatling blaster and two Multi-launchers (anti-infantry).

Third from left is going to have two volcano cannons and 2 weapons from the slection in front of the titans (so what - any opinions?)

Right side titan is going to have a volcano cannon and a powerfist (sorry L4 but I I'm going to give one of my 10 Imperials titans a CC weapon!), Once again it will have two carapace weapons from those in front of the titans.

So what carapace weapons should those two on the right get? (Remaining weapons will be used on some traitor titans). If necessary I guess I may convert some weapons...

The sooner it's decided the sooner I can hide that horrible bright red plastic forever!!  :laugh:

Well, one out of 4 ain't bad ! :)   I too have concerns about the F/W Epic Firestorm ... poor model design ... too small, too fiddly, etc. ... curse F/W ! :angry:

SG models are quite nasty too..
But all that trouble is forgotten when they are ready and shiny on your desk. :D

True, it is very important in 6mm figures and I'm still amazed how weird parts they have separately. :D

Yeah these are SG models. Painful, better get back to it and finish them off. I glued the middle barrels yesterday, now that they are perfectly set it's time to add the next ones!  :confuse:

Hmmm ... well I got resin 6mm Eldar AFVs from F/W and I think they still do sell'm !  I'll check the F/W site ?  I got metal Eldar AFVs from G/W before Epic went to S/G ...

Oops !!!  DOH !  Just checked F/W site ... it's a Night Spinner not Firestorm ... I'm getting old ... I get mixed up easily !  At least I didn't ID it as a ZSU 23-4 !! :blush:

Yes the Nightspinners are worse... :D Much swearing was heard during their assembly as well...

But at last the Fire Storms are finally assembled, and other stuff awaiting undercoat can also be seen, drop pods, strike cruiser, vypers.

Now trygons are WE in EA, I've based a few so they look more the part as Dominatrix defenders. They really needed bases anyway given how unstable they are. Just got to give the bases another coat of paint and flock them.

Lastly some Ork supa gunz await addition of more bits and crew in the background. They are based on Warmaster bases.

More Bugz !  You & WMN are causing an infestation !  :alien:  And, Yes, more and more I believe F/W 6mm stuff is not "modeler" or "Gamer" friendly  !  :O
