First off those are awesome - secondly why cant FW do these they do not look like they would have a hard time casting.

Also I just thought that something great to go along with an Epic Tyranid Army would be the 40k TYRANID CAPILLARY TOWERS & TYRANID SPORE CHIMNEY... they would make good themed terrain and be the large ones that you would find on a world that is being defended and processed.

First batch of miniatures have been spray undercoated white. Here's a few examples including the finished Trygon. I'm building two of these and the second one will be closer to the FW version in terms of pose.

Also another attempt at the Haruspex. Shortening the tail and moving the miniature's center of gravity forward helps a lot. I may also add some shoulder plates to make it slightly bulkier.

Grand stuff WMN - the Trygon us my favourite so far, but the Haruspex IS cute! Reminds me of the Aardwark in the old Ant and the Aardvark cartoons - must be the gait and the long tongue - er  - tongues. Please don;t paint it bright blue!  :p

Making nids is tempting... but I don't really enjoy playing with them, just seems an easy way to victory.. or draw at least. :D
But they are really nice army to paint. :)

Anything up to the mid-1980s. And then, for some unknown reason, they stopped coming. Except on Italian TV stations.
