Well I was looking through my inbox the other day and noticed that nearly a year ago to the day I received my first GW model in about 15 years...  A lad I use to game with put all our stuff in his loft and in early 2006 his Mum finally flipped and gave it all to a charity my sister worked for.. She found them and as the charity couldn't do anything with them they gave them to me!  gah if only I'd known...

Soon afterwards I joined these boards and started really looking for Epic models...

Now I look back on it I wonder if I've gone mad  :D

Over the last year (give or take a few days) I've acquired the following GW models and armies -

Epic. (all points values in approximate NetEpic terms)

Complete Space Marine Ultramarine chapter based on second edition rules (1 co card, 5 support, 1 special card (I made my own with captain, medic, librarian, chaplin, tech marine all counting as one card!) nearly enough for another 5 inf company's.  Armoured company's of vindies, preds, LR's etc.

Around 25,000pts I think.

Knight Household about 30 or so knights. Full lancer household, 2 paladin households, castellans, crusaders, errants (need three more for household) barons.

About 6000 points I think.

Titan legion about 10 titans various types (no reavers for some reason though)

Around 8000pts

IG lots of tanks and inf, a CI and Hellbore.

Around 8000 I think

Squats, to numerous to mention, but I will anyway :-).  I've spent the most time acquiring these guys I just love the stunties... Three cyclops, about 6 colossus, 4 land trains, 8 goliaths, 20 odd gyro's.  Loads of inf etc.

About 30,000 points if not more.

Warhammer 40K

4th Edition Eldar army around 8000 points.

4th Edition Chaos army hopefully around 5000 points.

Bloodbowl

8 teams (Human, Undead, Orc, Skaven, Wood Elf, Dark Elf, Halfling,  Chaos)

Of course to match this I've been buying the associated cases, modelling items, paints, brushes etc to support the hobby...

Does it counts as an obsession acquiring stuff at this rate?

I think the answer would be..... Yes!

wow!

To ease the pain sell me all the Epic stuff for $1. (I will pay postage). I really don't need it but anything to help a fellow gamer. :)

Not bad, Enderel. If it makes you feel any better, you're not alone in your obsession.

You actually have me beat in Squats. I have 4 Colossi, 2 Cyclopes, 2 Leviathans, 3 Land Trains, 9 Goliaths, about a dozen Gyrocopters, tons of Bikes, Trikes, Thudd Guns, Mole mortars, Infantry, etc, etc, for a total of a little over 20k points.

Good glad to know that even if I am insance collecting this little lot in a year, I'm not alone in my obsession..  :)

The stunties do take special place though, I still have sealed blisters and un touched sprues which don't count towards the total.  :D

Wouldn't like to put a total on that lot though, it's got to be major ? even from eBay..  Shussh don't tell the other half.

Hey, I didn't realize this was a Squat appreciation thread!

My Stronghold consists of 3 Cyclops, 3 Colossus, 4 Leviathan, 4 Land Train (12 Cars), 7 Goliath, 2 Thunderfire, 20+ Gyro, 5 Overlords, 1 Hellebore, 3 Moles, 6 Termites, and alot of GW & E/W Bikes and Infantry.  Sadly, most still waiting to be painted  :( .

Clearly, the bugs didn't get 'em all!

Just need Primarch to join in and we can retake the homelands completely

You're secret is safe with me.   Fortunately for me the vast majority of my all my epic acquisitions were pre-marriage.

LOL I think at the moment the thing stopping me getting married is the fact I don't have any "spare" money to save for it. ?

It's not spare, it's allocated to buying more Epic!

I know what you mean. I've been thinking about unloading my Tyranid army to help fund future E/W purchases.
