Tyranids:
Hierodule, Hierophant, 'modern' multi-part Tyranid Carnifexes and possibly infantry if Specialist Games does not re-release the plastic infantry spure.


Remove Infantry. FW won't do Tyranid infantry. Period. I've asked Tony C this before so I've had the definitive answer.

Chaos:
Defiler, Obliterators, Raptors, Daemon engines. Possibly Epic Conversion kits for titans or tanks.

S'Fine.

Imperial Guard:
Gorgon

So's this. :)

Necrons:
Infantry, Monoliths, Obelisks etc.

Fine to leave it in the petition, but I'd rate it as less likely for the moment. Still more likely than FW doing Tyranid infantry however.

Deathwheel is easy to convert if you get parts..and its more rewarding and more customizable...if forgeworld makes one then no one is gonna make their own so they dont look bad :p

I'd avoid being too specific.

Epic Chaos will suffice (These guys are plenty aware of Epic... half their business is in making 40k scale models of Epic models).

Wow! More than 50 signatures already. Let's hope we can reach at least a hundred before April. If some of our inactive members should feel like dropping a line then now is the time :)



E&C You have a good point with the whole KISS thing. I would certainly also like to see stuff like the Chaos Bikes, Tau Moray and more Epic scenery but the list can quickly turn into a big wishlist of all sorts of weird stuff. It should be focussed on the things which we feel should have top priority provided FW can/will produce some more Epic stuff.

My personal top 5 would be:

1: Defiler
2: Daemon Engines
3: Tyranids
4: Chaos Obliterators/Raptors
5: Gorgon

The top 3 are things which is very hard to proxy from other stuff. Considering how the Harridan was withdrawn from sales I see the point about perhaps  Necrons being somewhat unlikely so these are not on my personal list. I'm a bit two ways on the Gorgon: I like the FW model but I'd definitely like to see the other stuff before we get yet another IG model... :p

Anyway: I can certainly understand those ?who would like to see more scenery from FW and all the other good suggestions. However for the petition to remain focussed we should perhaps stick to the things we really REALLY need? Thoughts?

Definitely KISS and just concentrate on stuff that is very hard to proxy.

Possibly tyranids.

Infantry is the least important element IMO. And definitely no more imperial, eldar, ork stuff!!  ???

I'd agree with your list, Markconz, although I would add to it some sort of conversion kit to make Imperial Rhinos/Predators in to Chaos ones.

I would also keep it as open as possible. FW have a history of producing whatever they feel is cool at any time. If we make too many suggestions them we will both be seen to be asking too much, and risk running into the 'but I dont like that mini' problem. If FW produce Epic, we will buy it, and I think that this shows that it still has considerable support.

If FW find something that they like and think is cool, and if it is 6mm scale and fills a gap, then it will have a market. Not only that, but the repeat buys are there. How many people own more than one Valkyrie? But if Epic Tyranids were produced I would personally buy as many packs of the same thing as I could!
