Title says most of it.
I'm "making" a new chapter of SM to represent the mechanic marines the Emperor did not trust to fight as he thought they were ONLY mechanics - cant remember where i saw the fluff.
Basically 40k ones will have lots of hand 2 hand and all have techmarine shoulder pads (detail copied using green stuff). They will be black with white shoulder pads except the shoulder pad rims will be red.
Epic wise this means applying detail to tanks and creating special mech units...you'll see. The paint scheme will be similar.
BFG wise this means adding detail to imperial ships AND SM ships to show how they were forced to capture their own ships...
As soon as i have done: A stand of Marines + a rhino and 1 40k Marine ill post em here so you can all see the new color scheme! In fact ive already finished one f the escorts for BFG ill post it soon.
Sorry that this post makes no sense but this is all very exciting seeing as i just got a deivery from GW of my BFG stuff....
