Hi all,
Ok I'm looking for some figure cases for my 6mm collection.
Has anyone got any recommendations regards good case manufacturers, ideally in the UK?
The main things it would be for are square and long epic bases, super heavy tanks and a fair few knights.
Cheers

Plano boxes are another favorite. I'm guessing you can pick up something similar in the UK.

I personally just use these for storage:
Rubbermaid Deep Storage Bins
Or these:
Rubbermaid Slim Storage Bins
the slim ones hold roughly 4 standard figure trays and as an added bonus are stackable.
I should also mention mine only cost $4 Canadian as well.

I go down to the local large cheap department store (K-Mart down here) go to the fishing section and check out the various tackle boxes. Usually have heaps of sizes and shapes, with lots of compartmentalised trays and can generally find the one perfect for your army.

Cheers Bombot, Figures in Comfort was someone I'd forgotten about!
Excellent ideas from everyone else as well, thanks. Might look into the normal storage boxes with foam inlays for the non specialist stuff.
Was slightly worried about clicking on Heresiarch's URL initially, as Rubbermaid didn't really seem like a good name for storage bin makers!

I think my favourite suggestion for storage (not transport) is pizza boxes. You can even get some of those things that keep the lid up in the middle.

Hi all, quick update eventually I ordered some Feldherr cases and spare foam. With the spare foam I was able to convert a tool case into a fair sized case and have got lots of room for other stuff.
Not very good for 28mm unless you have the older smaller models from GW but ideal for 6mm tanks.

Hi Guys,
It may sound odd, BUT...
Old VCR tape cases work really well for most 6mm figures... easy to line with metal sheet or magnetic sheet too.

Interesting idea MS, might look into magnatising a few things.
