Terminators

I'm so keen to pay $35 for 76 terminators on mixed bases and varying levels of paintedness....I might even take the $47 buy it now option.

You would think that this seller would have noted that for $34 you could get 80 new metal termies from GWUS..... now to see if anyone bites  ???

That would be Seth of Epic Collectors fame.  Couple of minor conversions to the models by the looks of it but not enough to warrent that sort of money I'd have thought.

Looks like the turret off an ork wagon of some sort...

Ok just noticed the link isn't working. ?It's a planet redboots auction. Ebay shop

Normally Epicollector prices stuff at ~90% retail, with a premium for OOP stuff.

That Termie auction is just weird.  It's actually more expensive than buying new termies.  Maybe he thinks that they will fetch a preimum because they are plastic and easier to convert?

I think it has more to do with Australia as OZ has access to no SG from OZ mail order.  Thus, supply is scare, demand is great, price jumps up.

Um, no that is not the case ~ supply is not as scarce as you would believe there is always someone dumping epic gear (usually cheaply) you just have to know where to look and be quick about it.

As for what the auction has to do with OZ well Epicollector is based in the US not down under. You have just mistaken it since the link takes you to the OZ version of ebay.

I think that may just be the case. Personally I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for plastic termies if I knew I needed them for conversions. Depending a bit on the ammount of paint on them the price might drop though.
