Hi guys!! Gary I saw the army cards sample and I think that the two cards are great , the watermak give a vey efective look.

I prefer the second to the firs  :)

Took me a while to work out the difference between the 2 formats...d'oh.

I prefer the first myself, though I'd reduce the spacing between the silhouettes a little.

Another version in the works.

Very little computer time lately. Power has been off so much that my back-up power system batteries haven't been able to recharge.

Bans, nice. It is 3:00am so fogive me for asking but, what is it? ...an exploding Titan? It does have a good look though.

Question for anyone working on NEGold. Where can I find the  stencil "font" used for the page numbers?

Don't worry too much about exactly what Stencil font you use. Although there's some minor variations it's really no biggie. I just used it for the first books because it seemed to fit the theme. Thast said I don't think it'd look out of place to replace it for some books (like Tau or Slann)

As for image quality: The minimum quality would be 150 dpi although 300 is preferable as it allows room to stretch the images slightly if necessary. Images below 150 can only be used if they are sufficiently large to be scaled down (with a subsequent resolution increase)

Hi Gary,

I don't have any advance copies of NE Gold to work from, but what I have done so far can be found here:

Exodus Slann

Don't want to post much here because I basically took a 1MB picture and just cropped it...so they are big.  Photos were taken indoors, if you have time I can get better quality during the day.

I did do some of the comparison shots you were after.



Potential Annihilator?



Razorfang size.



With the Raptor rider, I didn't really de-Eldar it, just painted it in he same scheme as the other Exodus infantry stands.

I'd suggest the DRM Human buggies for the Exodus Salamander, Tiger Moth and Dragon Fly.  The Frog I did could be used as the Gecko instead (if you have something better for the Frog :) ).  If you can wait I can also do a Cold One rider.  I have ordered some DRM Krays, so I could also do up some of the Exodus command/special stands when these arrive.

Just had a look at the Baccus 6mm stuff.  I think their walker with the half circle thingy over the head have a bit of an Aztec look to them....they might make good Raptor Walkers.  I just used the old Eggs on legs because they were there, and they have no other good use :p

what is your wheeled tank model?

I much prefer the other model for the Annhilator. Actually I was thinking to use it as the Conqueror with a joining of 2 models to make the 3 track Annhilator.

The titan looks good but the only Titans I have are old "beatle backs".  

The Baccus walkers would be good for Raptor walkers but possibilly also for battle suits. I just have none to compare with. All of my battle suits are converted plastic robots.

Bans, your work is tentively on page one. I hope that is ok. Anything else in the works?

If I get it finished, I am doing photo catalogs of all available ranges in pdf. It just takes up to much time going through all their pages on line. If it is all in one place it will be easier to chose models.

The wheeled tank is the GZG Defender/Hoplite/Hunter/Striker.  The Newt = Defender, while the Frog uses a turret from one of their Kravak grav tanks.  Some pics here:

The Great Gargant is probably a bit taller and much more "massive" than a beetleback.  The Razorfang is both taller and "bigger" than a Warlord, but only by a reasonably small margin.
