On Sunday, for whatever reason, I decided to dust off the Battle for Skull Pass box-set and try to assemble and paint a gaming-standard unit of goblins (one of my biggest problems is I usually try for display-standard, intentionally and unintentionally). ?I got twenty goblin spearmen clipped, cleaned and assembled on Sunday, and sanded the bases. ?I primed them on Monday and spent too long brush over the missed areas. ?I took a break on Tuesday to study for my driving theory test. ?Today, after passing my driving theory test ( :;): ), I basecoated the skin with goblin green (2 coats for evenness) and applied the first layer of goblin/VMC pastel green.

It's left me feeling a bit nuts. ?I have the nasty feeling goblins'll be in my nightmares tonight.
I have one more skin layer to do (goblin/pastel + rotting flesh. ?I figure night goblins should be pale), but these guys have been shelved while I unwind with some 6mm goodness and other stuff.

Well, I'm 98% complete with my TL Mega-Gargant (a long time in coming !) ... May enter that in the Comp. (with the other Titans, of course !), along with my L/SHTs & Rhino converts !  I'm not hoping to win, I'm just doing it for fun !  My life needs more of that ! :D

After adding a few more "things ... to my M-Gargant ... IT is done ... but I still have to hit with Clear Flat Spray.  In the morning ... Also started on my F/W Warmaster Orc Village ... Will make a great 6mm Sci-fi Ork Vill !  The size is prefect for 6mm.  It comes in 4 pieces. A Big War Bosses "Keep" and 3 smaller groups of 3-5 structures/huts.  They look like, IIRC African Krawls (sp.?).  A nice place to call home for my Snake Bitz/F/Orks.  I don't know if F/W still sells them ...   :D   Being unemployed is kinda cool !  All I do is workout, work on my 6mm Sci-fi ... oh and look for work !  Not getting paid, sucks ! LOL !  :D

Nice work Mr Horizon. I'm writing some stuff too, but it's totaly unrelated to wargaming. And I'm trying to get another epicomp entry in - one for each category. I'm also trying to clean the ears of a cat.  :O

:O

L4: Kraals, I think. ?And tell me about it! :p

BH: Int'resting...

So... I recently stumbled across the previous Epicomp galleries and I thought Stormseer's 2004 AdMech scanning dish was so good I should nick the idea. :;): ?I have an old speaker or two lying around, and when I paid a visit to a model shop yesterday a single packet of the ideal styrene truss was sat there looking at me. ?I also noticed that the owner has started stocking Vallejo Model Colour alongside the Gamecraft paints. ?Which was nice.

Anyway, my paintbrushes call to me.

Did some drybrushing on an old BFG ship. I'm also working on a couple of units which might make it into the EpiComp Battleforce category.
Speaking of EpiComp I'm stil waiting for that GW order to arrive so I can finish my "Special project" However 'm not overly optimistic that I'll be able to finish it in time.

Nah, It's alright. I'm not really sure which category to submit it in anyway so it might save some trouble if it doesn't get finished in time. Besides I don't want to rush it.
