It could be for a lot of reasons. But probably mainly that the kind of people that hang around on forums are the kind of smelly reprobates that you don't want to be seen with in polite society ;I

Boy did I panic when I saw this thread topic... I'm getting very jumpy about GW these days.  :O

At least it is just non SG stuff taking a hit (if you can really call it that - probably not judging by the quality of those other forums).

Maybe they forgot to add that new forums will be launched in 2007?

I mean a real forum not that redundant message board they used to apply.

Well, I must say this news is... well, 'meh' springs to mind.

I'm hardly surprised, nevermind bothered.  I stopped frequenting (if I ever did as much) the GW fourms about a year ago.  No disrespect to the people that posted there, but if you want discerning discussion/comments/feedback, I always found forums like this or Warseer much better.

Just tried to check the SG fourm.
It is gone.
Just a box saying epic but everything else is just gone.
Just have to make sure everyone know about here.

I am not suprised and not overly sadened. GW wrote us Epic players off long ago. JJ may have tried but he couldn't fight city hall, as they say. GW cut their own throat. Let them die.

It really is a shame though. At least we have some new manufacturers now. Personally I think I will stick with the background. Just to involved in it.

Haven't seen any of the new rules. I will most likely stick with NetEpic.

At least NetEpic doesn't try to stiffle new ideas.

SG Forums all open fine for me currently as well.  They did seem a bit slow earlier today, maybe just a server hic-up when you tried.
