Holy cow, Warmaster, awesome. That's a Mk 0 Warlord, isn't it? As much as I like the Mk 1's, I like the Mk 0's even better.  :cool:

Great Titan, WMN! :cool:  Am I right in thinking that it's based on one of those ultra-rare Prototype Titans from 1987/88 (the name's a bit of a give away, lol! :laugh: )

Also, is that what the missile launchers were for? :;):  If so, I'll feel very proud if it wins - the same way Vanvlak did for his 'sponsorship' of Calligula :D

Hehe, yes, that is indeed a mk0 titan. ...Well more or less: It is actually only the body, legs and feet that are original. The model I got was in pretty bad shape so I had to do some serious restoration. I had to make a new head from green stuff and plasticard based on a plastic beetleback head. I also added some extra details like hatches, wires and hydraulics to the legs. The weapons are from various other kits as well and yes: The missile launchers were from our trade Firestorm :;):

That's good to know, ha!  :laugh:

That makes it an even more impressive model - I honestly wouldn't have realised you'd re-sculpted the head, you've done such a professional-quality job on it.  :cool:

I didn't realize either that you had to resculpt the head. It looks just like a Mk 0 head. That makes it even more impressive. ?:cool:

I think I have a pic of the WIP head somewhere if people want to have a go at sculpting some for themselves (I agree that the mk0 head looks way better than the plastic beetleback heads!). If only I knew how to cast resin I'd probably make a bunch to replace my own plastic warlord heads...

I've thought about cutting off the extra bit of plastic on the bottom of the Warlord head to make it look more like a Mk 0 head.

That's prety much the soution I came up with as well. I used the "crusader helmet" head and removed everything below the eyes. The upper trim above the eyes were removed as well and replaced with plastic stripes making the eyes larger and more "Dame Edna Sunglass" like (Now that's just an ugly comparison I know :D).
The chin was resculpted from green stuff for a lower and more sleek look with the mouth "grill" cut out when the GS had dried. Then I aded more plastic strips for trimmings and added some rivets to match the overall look of the rest of the trims.
