Yup... and to add flavour this is part of a BFG/40k/Epic campaign.
Since the orks captured an imperial tank factory, ?they are now looting tanks and mechanized units to use building a GARGANT and they have extra tanks!
Special rules for this scenario: Orks had free transports for ONE formation. ?In addition, ?they would get half the VP of any tank they destroyed in close combat (FF and resolution not counting).
IG on the other hand had long artillery support. ?One FREE activation of a d3+1 BP with no range/LOF limit. ?
This was a bloody battle. ?Both armies managed to accomplish their objectives. ?IG stopping the ork rides but orks looted 2 complete tank companies!!!!
I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of that IG commander when he reported.
Of course, ?I am an ork and wouldn't want to be in the shoes aof any IG commander. ?Unless they were looted to match my new looted Leman Russ.
