Nice work all round.
And chears for providing the painting guides, I was kind of stuck finding a scheme to make my nurgle forces look decent.

Hi, and thanks again for all the nice words.
I recently moved to a new place so my painting has been slowed a little... but I'm back with a brand new batch of pictures.
First, I've decided to change the bases of my daemons. They were too black and didn't blend well with our usual terrain(s). So I've gone for a "ruined city" look by painting the edge in grey (a dark grey from the Prince August brand, can't remember the exact name) and brushing the base with Codex grey.
Here they are.

And now for the biggie: Alpha Legion Chosen. ?
First, an overview

A closer look

Hand-painted symbols (not too satisfied with those, but it's the best I could do ? )

Modular stand, with Icon Bearer... (a bit blurry, sorry)

... and without

Chaos Lord upgrade...

... and last but not least, Sorcerer upgrade (conversion made from the bottom half, head and staff of a Chaos Sorcerer and the top-half of a "classic" Terminator)

And now for the painting guide:
- Black undercoat
- Deadly Nightshade heavy drybrush (this is an old GW ref, not sure it still exists) - Regal Blue heavy drybrush
- Scaly Green wash (apply generously)
- Goblin Green light drybrush
- Boltgun Metal on all metallic parts and weapons - Black Wash (on weapons only)
- Diluted Scorpion Green for the eyes (use a 5/0 brush)
- And finally, if you're feeling adventurous, Goblin Green for the symbols.
EDIT:
Oops, forgot the tusks: Snakebite Leather followed by a thin coat of Bleached Bone. Nothing too original. ? Hope you like it, guys! ?
