Yep, as a former Grunt, we spent a lot of time practicing to kill AFVs...

Dismounted night attacks with Light AT weapons and demo charges at close range! Drives Tankers Crazy!! :D

Or an AT Ambush, popping up out of a corn field with M72s LAWs and M47s MAWs in suporting positions as the AFVs drive by!

But my personal favorite is calling in A 10s or Cobra/Apache Gunships! ?:D

L4 with a radio.  The most dangerous thing on the battle field.

you demolish atoms!

I thought that only physicists did that.  So they could be burried underground and forgotten (why else are all these funky particle accelerators built underground?)

Was that where they actually had plans for the use of tactical nukes in artillery shells, L4?

Well not quite Rag ... we'd go in with an SF Tm, Satcom and a man packed small or medium atomic demolitions device about the size of a basketball ... emplace it, get the GO from the Cdr in Chief, get out of the AO (hopefully) and BOOOOOOOOOOOM? !!!!    :D  But I don't think they use that any more.  As far as NUC Arty rounds, "ibl.", that was simply command authorization to use, as they say in Hammer's Slammers, the Red Pill ...  Large calibre FA firing NUC tipped Projectiles.  I can say, the Red Pills, were available in certain locations.  :D              Scary, is it ?  Now I play with toy soldiers, instead !  LOL ! :D

I bet every one of Legion 4's campaigns ends with someone signing an Exterminatus order, and the whole planet being virus bombed. :D

Then shoot 'em at night! :D

I still prefer my version of fire support, though:  Tomahawk Block 4s orbiting the battlefield, waiting for a target location, with vertical 155mm 'deck guns', Lockheed Cormorant UCAV-Ns, and NATACMS Tactical Ballistic Missiles, all waiting 25 miles offshore on a Trident SSGN.  Less than 5 minutes from word 'Fire Mission', there won't be much left chasing that SEAL platoon (or Marine Raider company, or ...)

And if that doesn't work, there's the wrath of God Himself lurking somewhere in the ocean.  The Trident SSBN.

Go Navy! I went thru USMC BAT at Little Creek in '83! Nothing like having a little Naval Missile/Gunfire Support! ? ? ? ? ?

And yep - "V" is the BitzMaster!!! :D

I'd be afraid of what would come out after he was rummaging thru my Bitz Box!! ?:D

V, if that's the nicest compliment you've gotten in weeks, you need to spend more time here and less time in that lab you work in!

Using a 1/35th 54cm or 60cm gun in 1/300 scale is... something that looks about right sticking out of a BFG ship!  The 54cm bore is about 15.5mm on the model, and the 60cm bore is about 17.2mm; those numbers roughly translate to a 465cm bore for the 54cm Karl, and a 515cm bore for the 60cm Thor.

Do I win, or do I really have to build the beast?

L4, Vanvlak could probably build two or three 6k armies out of your bits box, and then start on the serious conversions!

You're right- sigh!

Thanks for the size - a BFG ship gun mounted on a land carriage - good idea  :D

Guess..... :p

Wow, really? L-4, pics of your bitz boxes please! I need to confirm that.  :D
But remember guys, for the classy stuff, you want people like Krooza and Warmaster Nice - and I'm not starting on the sculptors! I just do weird.
