Thanks guys! Got a new camera this year and I think it really helps.  Everyones ships are looking good this time around. Didn't you win last year Warmaster Nice? Where is your entry this year?  Are you waiting for the last moment for a dramatic killing stroke or are you like me and just have too many projects going to actually finish one up?  I actually have several more things I'd like to enter but if I am reading the rules correctly I should wait to enter them or be forced to compete with myself.  On the other hand I don't know how many more entries there will be so I cannot be sure there will be enough. I want to enter at least three more things. I have an ork terror ship that matches my all rok fleet , a hiveship and a Overlord in a SM style that I use in a segmentum solar list that is primarily SM.  I guess I will just keep checking back and if there aren't enough entries I will just summit at the last minute like everyone else.  It might be a good idea if the organizer just arranges everyone into heats rather than being first come first serve. I have no problem with that.  What does everyone else think about that?

Re-arranges? Dunno, what should the rule on that be? Cybershadow stated he made heats on how ships are entered.

So, I finished my second and third entry, pictures to be made.

lol. Thanks. Unfortunately i didn't win last year but I was a close second.

I'm afraid that time restraints rather than any "grand dramatic scheme" has kept me form entering anything yet :;):
I do have something in the works but it's nothing special and only time will tell if I get it painted up in time.

I'm not sure how CS is going to arrange the voting this year but it is definitely a good idea to wait a bit to post the last entries. Like you said there's no real point in competing against yourself if the voting heats are going to be set up in chronological order.

Just a reminder that you now have just under two weeks to post your entries to this competition. At the deadline, I will save all pictures (so they cannot be changed after this time) and create a gallery to allow voting to begin.

All the best.

Congrats to Unseelied for winning this competition! Well deserved in my opinion. Great ship.

Now, are you gonna give us a 'how-to-build-it-guide'? :)

All around, the entries were all good, lots of creative minds and great painters.

eh? I never even noticed voting had ended! D'oh! Ah well, I got my vote in - so congrats, Unseelied - that ship is outstanding. The competition was tough this year, and I'm predicting a similar show in Epicomp. And now - echoing BH - tutorial!  :D

Congrats Unseelied, a truly beatiful ship.

And unluckily for you Vanvlak, you ended up in the same heat, my second favourite ship.

Thanks everyone.  The competition was very good this year. I am very excited to have won.  Last year I didn't even make it to the second round so I was very happy to have advanced.

It took forever to build the thing. I read in one of the fanatic mags a brief blurb about Rogue trader ships being built at Kar Duniash looking like they do.  I got to thinking that since Kar Duniash is a major fleet base I could build an entire fleet using the Rogue trader cruiser as the main line imperial cruiser not as some rogue pirate ship.    All I needed was a battleship and some escorts and a full battlefleet would be mine.  The escorts are still in progress but the rest of the fleet is mostly done. I have been dragging my heels on the escorts. I hate painting escorts.

Sorry, no how too guide. It was an extra major project. The bridge, upper deck, prow and parts of the wings were all scratch build from small bits of plastic.  Don't remember how now and it would take forever to write it all down if I did.

Next big project is another Imperial fleet from another area of space. I have started a new prow and bridge section and will have to make some molds.  I will have to build another flagship so that will most likely be my entry for next year.
