					| Remember what I said in my "Heeees Back" post, these two forums (Weapons and Vehicles) ARE so we can clean up the AVs/Weapons AND so I can catch up with where you guys had gone while I was gone.
Please, please propose away as I am pasting them into a seperate file so I can puruse them. SO please don't just say hey Jaldon that one stinks, post a different version complete as you would like to see it changed. Then I can file it, print it up, and look it over where I do not have to sit down for any length of time.

The only way we will get back up to speed is if we toss around ideas

Many apologies mate, I know I can be a bit blunt... and I definitely wouldn't want to keep you on your keister too much right now.

 Okay here goes.

 Here is Jaldon's Dominatrix/Hydraphant:

 Dominatrix/Hydraphant
 Type/ Speed/ Armor/ CC/ FF
 WE/ 25cm/ 4+/ 4+/ 4+
 Weapon/ Range/ Firepower/ Notes
 BigWarp Blast/ 30cm/ Macro-Weapon 4+ AA5+/ FFMW +1 Attack Ignore Cover
 Bio-Plasmic Breath/ 15cm/ 3x AP3+ AT5+/ Ignore Cover
 Spore Cysts/ (15cm)/ small arms/ +1 FF Attack
 Notes: Unchanged from v7.1

One of the things some of us had a go at while you were away was splitting the Dominatrix away from the Hydraphant somewhat (Since we're not getting new Dominatrix / Hydraphant models anymore, it didn't make so much sense anymore to have them armed the same).

And here's the Dominatrix from the forum:

 Dominatrix
 Type /Speed /Armour /Close Combat /Firefight
 WE /25cm /4+ /3+ /5+
 Weapons /Range /Firepower /Notes
 - Bio-Titan Warp Blast  30cm  MW 4+/AA 5+ and
 (15cm)  (small arms) /Macro-Weapon, Extra Attack (+1)
 - Bio-Cannon  45cm  2x AP 3+/AT 4+ /Ignore Cover
 - 2x Bio-Titan Claws  (base contact)  (assault weapons) /Macro-Weapon, Titan Killer (d3), Extra Attack (+1)

Basically just WYSIWYG, with the slightly modified Warp Blast FF abilities. The Bio-Cannon is identical to that on the Exocrine, so it got the same stats, which are based on the Bio-Cannon's stats in 40k. The forum list managed standardising Bio-Cannons across the board into two types:

 - Bio-Cannon  45cm  2x AP 3+/AT 4+ /Ignore Cover
 - Twin-Linked Bio-Cannon  2x 45cm  AP 2+/AT 3+ /Ignore Cover

There's a whole bunch of AV/WE's that got those, including Dominatrix, Hierophant(Modular), Hierodule, Exocrine & Harridan, amongst others. In 40k it's a truly superb anti-infantry tool, while being moderate against armoured vehicles it's not amazing, thus the stat mod from the 7.1 list (Which was basically the other way around).

Now the Hydraphant. His weapons modifications have their roots in the discussions we had over the Hierophant, and how his armament stats did not reflect his armament in 40k, or the armament of the ForgeWorld model that will be released when the Tyranid list is released. However there are still lots of people with the old metal Hierophants with the modular weapons selections (And they have a possibility of being rereleased too, though that doesn't seem so likely after a chat I had with Andy H at GamesDay), so we developed a way of bringing all of these models / weapon arms together, and that was to develop a modular weapons set for the two Bio-Titans.

 So without further ado:

 Hydraphant
 Type /Speed /Armour /Close Combat /Firefight
 WE /25cm /4+ /3+ /5+
 Weapons /Range /Firepower /Notes
 - Warp Blast  30cm  AP 4+/AT 4+/AA 5+
 - Bio-Plasmic Breath  flame template  MW 5+ /Macro-Weapon, Ignore Cover
 - 2x Bio-Titan Talons  (base contact)  (assault weapons) /Macro-Weapon, Titan Killer (1), Extra Attack (+1)
 - Bio-Weapon Slot (1)   (select a weapon from the Titan bio-morph list, below)
 - Bio-Weapon Slot (2)   (select a weapon from the Titan bio-morph list, below)

 Hierophant
 Type /Speed /Armour /Close Combat /Firefight
 WE /25cm /4+ /3+ /5+
 Weapons /Range /Firepower /Notes
 - Bio-Plasmic Breath  flame template  MW 5+ /Macro-Weapon, Ignore Cover
 - 2x Bio-Titan Talons  (base contact)  (assault weapons) /Macro-Weapon, Titan Killer (1), Extra Attack (+1)
 - Bio-Weapon Slot (1)   (select a weapon from the Titan bio-morph list, below)
 - Bio-Weapon Slot (2)   (select a weapon from the Titan bio-morph list, below)

 Titan Bio-morph weapons:
 - Bio-Cannon  45cm  2x AP 3+/AT 4+ /Ignore Cover
 - Pyro-Acidic Spray flame template  AP 4+/AT 5+ /Ignore Cover
 - Bio-Titan Claws  (base contact)  (assault weapons) /Macro-Weapon, Titan Killer (d3), Extra Attack (+1)
 - Ripper Tentacles  (base contact)  (assault weapons) /Extra Attacks (+d3+2)

Yes we kept the template weapon as an optional arm (Which would cost a slot that could be used for a TK claw etc), and the Hydraphant kept it as a basic breath weapon too to help differentiate him from the Dominatrix and the Hierophant.

Note that the standard configuration of the FW Hierophant model is 2x Bio-Cannon arms.

 Next up the Harridan:

 Jaldon's:

 Harridan
 Type/ Speed/ Armor/ CC/ FF
 WE/ 35cm/ 4+/ 4+/ 5+
 Weapon/ Range/ Firepower/ Notes
 2x Bio-Gun/ 30cm/ 2x AP3+ AT6+/ none
 Spore Cannon/ 15cm/ AP3+ AT6+ AA5+/ Ignore Cover
 Big Rending Claws/ B-B/ CC Macro-Weapon/ +2 Attacks
 Notes: Unchanged from v7.1

As opposed to the forum one:

 Harridan
 Type /Speed /Armour /Close Combat /Firefight
 WE /35cm /5+ /4+ /5+
 Weapons /Range /Firepower /Notes
 - Twin-Linked Bio-Cannon  45cm  2x AP 2+/AT 3+ /Ignore Cover
 - 2x Piercing Talons  (base contact)  (assault weapons) /Macro-Weapon, Extra Attack (+1)
Notes: DC-3, Reinforced Armour, Skimmer, Synapse , Fearless, Transport (Four Gargoyles)

Again, WYSIWYG was the order of the day; the model has a twin-linked bio-cannon & large talons of some kind. There's no support for a 'spore cannon' or the like in the background / 40k rules, so that got dropped too. I was happy with DC3, RA5+, though that wasn't universally supported.

 The Hierodules:

 Jaldon's:

 Hierodule
 Type/ Speed/ Armor/ CC/ FF
 WE/ 20cm/ 4+/ 4+/ 4+
 Weapon/ Range/ Firepower/ Notes
 Acid Spray/ 15cm/ 2x AP3+ AT4+/ Ignore Cover +2 FF Attacks
 Bio-Gun/ 30cm/ 2x AP3+ AT6+/ none
 Big Claws/ B-B/ CC Macro-Weapon/ +1 Attacks
 Notes: Unchanged from v7.1

 Barbed Hierodule
 Type/ Speed/ Armor/ CC/ FF
 WE/ 20cm/ 4+/ 3+/ 5+
 Weapon/ Range/ Firepower/ Notes
 Cluster Spines/ (15cm)/ smalll arms/ none
 Large Slashing Claws/ B-B/ CC Macro-Weapon TK/ +3 Attacks
 Barbed Hooks/ 15cm/ AP3+ AT5+/ Ignore Cover
Notes: Unchanged from standard Hierodule in v7.1

 versus:

 Scythed Hierodule
 Type /Speed /Armour /Close Combat /Firefight
 WE /20cm /4+ /3+ /5+
 Weapons /Range /Firepower /Notes
 - Acid Spray  15cm  AP 2+/AT 6+ / Ignore Cover
 - 2x Bio-Titan Talons  (base contact)  (assault weapons) /Macro-Weapon, Titan Killer (1), Extra Attack (+1)
Notes: DC-3, Reinforced Armour, Walker, Brood (6)

 Barbed Hierodule
 Type /Speed /Armour /Close Combat /Firefight
 WE /20cm /4+ /4+ /4+
 Weapons /Range /Firepower /Notes
 - Twin-Linked Bio-Cannon  45cm  2x AP 2+/AT 3+ /Ignore Cover
Notes: DC-3, Reinforced Armour, Walker, Brood (6)

Again, WYSIWYG and the 40k rules were the guide for the template of the weapons. All of these stats are as close to reflecting the 40k stats/abilities as we could reasonably concieve.

 The Trygon:

 Jaldon's:

 Trygon
 Type/ Speed/ Armor/ CC/ FF
 WE/ 15cm/ 4+/ 5+/ 3+
 Weapon/ Range/ Firepower/ Notes
 Acid Cysts/ (15cm)/ small arms/ +2 FF Attacks
 Elctro-Shock Wave/ 15cm/ 2x AP3+ AT5+/ Ignore Cover +2 FF Attacks
 Notes: Unchanged from v7.1

This just ain't a Trygon, sorry.

Our interpretation of the 40k rules was:

 Trygon
 Type /Speed /Armour /Close Combat /Firefight
 WE /15cm /3+ /3+ /5+
 Weapons /Range /Firepower /Notes
 - Bio-Electric Field  20cm  d3x AP 3+/AT 6+ /Ignore Cover
 - 2x Piercing Talons  (base contact)  (assault weapons) /Macro-Weapon, Extra Attack (+1)
Notes: DC-3, Invulnerable Save, Infiltrator, Walker, Brood (6)

Bio-Electric field was at d3 because it's d6 infantry-killing shots in 40k. It also gets a characterful invulnerable save in 40k.

As for Infiltrate, this was the best compromise we could achieve to represent it tunneling, emerging unexpectedly right amongst the enemy (It is the only unit in 40k that can Deep Strike directly into base-to-base contact with the enemy and not be destroyed in the process!).

 E&C's final thoughts:

 - Hena seems to have some good thoughts about the Vituraptor, Malefactor & Haruspex.

 - E&C is sorry for being rude.
