Okay then ... four pages of discussion, and what we are looking at looks very similar to those published already, here:

I think this only highlights the fact that additional units belong in a vault section, rather than an issue of Fanatic Online, so they don't get forgotten so quickly.

Hey i said before that there was a FO article with ScoutBikes :)
The stats there looked good to me and are very similar to what most have proposed here :).

I'm not hugely impressed by the FO76 stats.  They just don't seem to have a niche in the army right now.  Don't get me wrong, I'll buy/make some for use in the Chapter, but I just don't see what capacity Scout Bikes fill that another unit does not.

Since it seems that the high speed+infiltrate is overpowering, I'd have to vote for option 2 of those choices.  If Scout Bikes do get into an article, there should be a conversion guide (even if it's just a fiddly paint job...)

The only real issue I have with the Fanatic ones is the cost.  A ?free? upgrade to a 200 point unit ? err, bargain!  

Knock 50 points off the cost and then they are ok.  As such they should be an ?upgrade? to the standard Scout formation, not the Marine bikes formation.

The oh bum was beacause its identicle to the stats we finally arrived at.  Maybe its a good thing- great minds and all...

I really think that Scout Bikes should be a separate formation from Marine Bikes, not an upgrade to Marine Bikes.  Except for fluff reasons (like my building an entire Chapter), there's no real game reason to take Scout Bikes with them as an upgrade.  They should be a less expensive formation than Marine Bikes, as they are less capable.
