How much bigger than the original MK1 super heavies are the resin Forgeworld Epic models?

I was thinking of going for some FW Baneblades but I?m not overly-keen on really massive tanks.

Much bigger than the GW one, I don't have any photos of mine to hand unfortunately but there should be some comparisons somewhere on this site. I?ll try and get a couple of shots tonight if nobody else has any to hand sooner.

I prefer the ForgeWorld versions, the increase in detail is very noticable.

They are about 30% larger than the SG metals I think.

A photo comparison would be much appreciated Justiniel.

I certainly agree the FW tanks look nicer (particularly the Baneblade) but I like the size of the MK1 Shadow Sword I have.  Hmmm.

As you wish, Tuffskull made an article on it:

I prefer them simply because they're in-scale with the infantry & the rest of the tanks... I prefer a single scale for the entire range.

Yep the F/W SHTs are bigger then the G/W ones ...  And the G/W L/Russes are bigger than the F/W versions ... And it goes on ... F/W makes it's own scale ... but G/W did the same with many pieces from SM2 to E40K !   Go figure !

Thanks for those.  They give a good impression of the size difference.

Those are nice models "J" and the size differences is obvious !  I've kept my G/W AFVs in the same IG Rgts and the F/W the same.  For the most part, but I do have G/W and F/W L/Russes in separate Co./Dets but same Rgt becuase they look so different, yet alike.  Look at the AFVs in the French Army of 1940 ...  The H-39, R-35, etc., etc., look similar but are cleary different ... But that being said, F/W & G/W should talk more ...
