Yeah....some peoples take things way too seriously.  Our Necro games tend to the psycho side.  I personally wouldnt care if someone wanted a Tau gang... course I don't  frequent tourneys either...  :p

Indeed ! ?As W/N points out ... DWWFY ... However, I Always thought, the 40K and Necromunda rules were "weak" IMO ... ?And I've noticed the gents we have here rarely "rumble" like some of the 40K Boyz on other sites ... ?We're an eclectic, intellectual and Learned lot ! ? Except this L4, cowboy ! ?He's a reject from Soldier of Fortune Mag ! ?Oh ... wait ... never mind ! ? :;):

I guess that what surprising me from the 'discussion' is that (to me) the point behind the initial post seems fairly good. If a player wanted to create a Space Marine Terminator Assault Squad for the game, then fine. But, some Fire Warriors arent decidedly more powerful than some existing gangs out there, and it looks like the guy just wanted to try something interesting and different.  ???

I understand why someone might be vehemently having a band of Tau in their own campaign.  But to suggest that Necromunda can ONLY be set on Necromunda and that no-one else should use Tau?that?s rather OTT.

I agree.  It would be like saying we couldn't have nids, chaos, eldar ect in epic:armageddon since they weren't on the planet.

Or like saying we can't have Barbed Hierodules in our Tyranid list because the army list's name implies they might not have been present on the planet. :D

Proxying with snack food is always fun, it doesn't seem as bad when you lose a cocktail sausage, compared to a lunar class.  The only problem is getting a rematch in without needing to go to the kitchen for a new fleet  :D
