Lol. I'll probably survive :D

Personally I see no problem in people entering their titans from the SG comp but of course that's up to CS to decide.

I see no problems with it either.

I don't have a problem with it either, I wasn't trying to stop you or anything Warmaster, I was just attempting a jokey comment.... not very good at that in Real Life ™, obviously I'm worse still by email!

Reaver

Well, I've submitted my SG TItan Comp Failure, lol!

I've set up a photobucket for it, which you can find here.

I took detailed pics of the building process, and if anyone wants to see them I'll post 'em too.

Oh, I really like your Reaver Titan, erm, Reaver! :D  Very cool conversion, and excellent painting - especially the banner.

Yeah, I love Firestorm's Titan too - great use of bits from other ranges. Those Chaos vehicle missile launchers show up in all kinds of places!
Regards,
Reaver

Entering SG comp titans should be OK. However, please be aware that by submitting your titan to SG, they own the copyright for it. Therefore, please dont post any stats or anything beyond the picture. Also, please display a different picture here (ie not one that was sent to SG) since SG 'own' the picture that you sent them.

Thanks.

Does a re-size count as different pics?  I can't take any more pics of mine as it is now in storage, ready for my impending move to France... ???

No worries. I didn't think of it as anything like that at all. Actually I submitted that titan in last year's Epicomp so it wouldnt wouldn't qualify for entry anyway :;):

I'm afraid it's not easy to do a tutorial for the Reaver. I started with a normal SG Reaver, pulled of the shoulder and weapons, bent the legs, and then started covering everything in SuperSculpey, shaped it, baked it and sanded it. After that I added bits, like the banner and the targeting eye with Green Stuff. But the original Reaver is all still in there!
Regards,
Reaver

Hmm, I first thought it was made up totally from other (non-titan) bits, but still...its quite an impressive model and the paintjob is amazing!

The non-Titan bits are the weapons. The Vulkan Mega bolter is a cut-down Storm bolter from the 40k SM vehicle accesory sprue, the Melta cannon is a SM land speeder multi melta and the Plasma cannon is a SM devastator Plasma cannon. The rest of it is all putty, except the feet. The banner was the worst bit to paint, mostly because it took me hours searching through old WDs until I got back to issue 120 which had the colour scheme and banner design for War Griffon Titans.
Regards,
Reaver
