I'm in for Word Bearers, I thought of painting them after reading the Blood Angels book Dues Encarmine,  I think it was. But I stuck with my Iron Warriors.

Hi,

no new pictures, juste a quick update : painting guide for my Deathwing Terminators (first post on page 1).

I edited the first post, but here's the "guide" anyway:

Very, very easy and fast.

- White undercoat

- Desert Yellow coat

- Kommando Khaki drybrush
- Bleached Bone drybrush
- White drybrush (optional, and only on the top part of the models - gives a cleaner look)

Weapons
- Boltgun Metal
- Black wash
- Dark Angels Green

Breastplate
- Chaos Black (Burnished Gold for the characters)

-------------------------

I have taken a short break from my Chaos army to modify the bases of my Iyanden ost. I'll post pictures tomorrow and then go back to work on my Chaos Terminators (I'm tempted to go Word Bearers because it's easier to paint, but I really love the Alpha Legion's background and, as Mojarn Piett remarked, nobody ever seems to play Alpha Legion, so...)

Hi,

here are a few pictures of my rebased Eldars. All of my Aspects were painted a long time ago, when I still used Goblin Green and green flock for my bases. I don't really like it anymore and I use sand for the bases of my recent Eldar models. I'm going to play my Eldars vs IG this afternoon, so I decided it was time for some harmonization.

Here's a picture of some of my Dire Avengers before...

I also changed their helmets, as I no longer use any metallic colour for my Eldars.

Here's my Avatar (also rebased)


And my recently painted Wraithgate (it was high time I painted it)


That's it for now. Expect some more Eldar pictures in the following days, and then I'll go back to work on my Chaos models.

hojyn, that rebasing is great. Very nice - and the contrast between the Eldar and the base makes for a good look, although L-4 might disappprove :p
Then again, I think he'll like your Avatar. I know I do.  :D  :cool:

I also think the brown colour makes for a much better "background colour", especially for multicoloured units like the Eldars.

Hi,

here are a couple of pics of my Dark Reapers. Took me longer than I thought, because instead of simply rebasing them, I actually repainted them! ?:p ?They used to be all black with purple weapons, which I didn't like any more. So I gave them a brand new white undercoat and here's the result (they came out a bit too bright in the pictures, despite the lack of a flash - they're normally a nice bone colour):





Next on the list: Alpha Legion terminators. Yes, I've finally made my choice. ?:)
