DS, you'd better buy some more minis... It sounds like you're running out of unpainted lead!

Once in September, once in October, each year.

As for the metal - running out? Sometimes I wish I was, then it'd be much easier to convince myself to buy more.....  :p

Commando 150s? Intrigued.

Well, I got the SG Titan Comp entry finished & painted Saturday, mailed it all off Sunday... Was getting a bit anxious abuot getting it off 'cause I'm without internet access at home and can currently only use it at work - and the closing date was a Bank Holiday in the UK...

Fortunately a neighbour let me use their computer, so I got the entry off in the end! ?I must confess though, I felt a bit lost after I'd done that - this SG competition entry has taken up all of my mini-making focus for nearly 6-7 weeks, and I couldn't decide what to do next...

I rectified this yesterday afternoon - I am now starting my next Epic army! ?I had planned to do Orks, but I've been swayed in to another by my SG competition entry, as a matter of fact... obviously, 'till the results of those come out I'll leave it a while before revealing this new army...

But as soon as they do, I'll start a new thread to report the army's progress! :D

Sometimes I wish it, too. It would make buying more minis easier, but more importantly, it would mean everything is painted.

Was in a Toy Store and saw some of the Yu-Gi-Yo toys are on sale. You guys may want to check them out. Lots of stange beasts and Robots. The sizes range from about 2" tall to one Robot that is about 8" tall.

Worth the time if you are looking for odd or fun things to convert or use as parts for conversions.

You may want to look for cheap Transformers or Zoids...

American Toys (on-line toy shop) has cheap toys that work really well for conversions (Less than a US Dollar each).

Try this E-group for lots of ideas for miniatures fodder, Dr. Frankenstein...

ultracheapminis ? Ultra Cheap Miniatures Gaming

I hope this lead helps... :D

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Last night I worked on my 6 Death Strike missile launchers, which are almost done. The vehicles just need a few finishing touches and the missiles are pretty much done. I'm kind of having a creative block with them, and so I decided to paint them sky blue (theorizing they'd be harder to spot on the battlefield) with some detailing. I'm not overly thrilled with them and I might go back later and re-do them, but at least they're painted and are almost off my WIP list, finally.  :p

I also did a little work on my Titan weapons, which except for the Fire Contol Tower, are nearing completion. Once they're done, I will have officially completed everything on my WIP list. Yay!  :)

Yup, trying to paint everday, even if it's only for 15 minutes.

As for pics... I know, I owe a ton of pics. I'm still trying to figure out our new digicam, or at least enough to post pics.  :;):
