Yup. I definetly would have liked to have SC reroll there. And yes I know I could have got it fairly easily(remove 1 sentinel formation and biggest company would have been upgraded to SC host with hydra) but since I wanted infantry regiment rather than mechanised regiment that option was out.
I had hoped to get that combined assault to clear that assault swarm and get those 2 infantry companies(I don't think I btw tried to use baneblades to mix. For one I think they were too far for combined assault and I wanted them to start heading toward bliz objective. And they were in position to support assault anyway) further from your assaulty units.
Then I would have hoped to assault on the other side which would hopefully atleast have dented the other assault swarm while leaving second company ready to move near bliz objective, thus preventing nasty swarm from claiming it.
Ah well. Sometimes you have to sacrifice for themed lists but hopefully somebody produces tournament legal infantry list with infantry SC.
But overall much better show from me than the first one. This one I actually felt I had chances to win all the way into start of turn 3
